bus tours Park and Ride Park and ride a bus to the Parade of Homes. Conserve on gas, and no need to worry about parking. The HBIA would like to make your Parade viewing easier. Come to the Power Townsend parking lot (1387 East Custer Avenue) on Saturday, September 18, and Sunday, September 19, and leave the driving to us. Buses are free to the public. Buses will depart intermittently throughout the weekend and will stop at each home along the Parade route. Parade participants will be able to tour a home for approximately 20 minutes before the bus leaves. There will be two buses touring the Parade route. Bus routes may change to better accommodate participants, but it is a relaxing way to view the homes. Grab a friend, and hop on a bus! Enjoy the Parade of Homes, and leave the driving to the HBIA.

Originally built in 1974, this home’s interior spaces were poorly laid out, but contained several opportunities to improve both the comfort and beauty of the home. Armed with years of contemplation and a vision of the house as a gathering place for their large family, the homeowners teamed up with Leland Builders to create this truly one-of-a-kind home. This 3,800-square-foot home features a main floor above with a walkout basement below. A large, artfully resurfaced fireplace creates a focal point on both floors. The renovation of this home included

deconstructing all interior walls, floors, and ceilings, conversion of the garage into living space, as well as replacement of the electrical, plumbing, and heating systems. Most recently Bill was inducted into the Montana Building Industry’s Hall of Fame in 2010.
