PROVIDING THE EDGEWOOD EXPERIENCE BUILDING A COMMUNITY FOR LIFE

2023/2024

WHY we FUNDRAISE in ADDITION to CHARGING TUITION

To provide an affordable and exceptional high school experience focused on academic, spiritual and personal development.

ANNUAL COST to EDUCATE an EHS STUDENT: $15,795

TUITION & FEES: $13,295 THE GAP: $2,500

Did you know? EHS does not receive federal, state or diocesan financial support. Every student receives a $2,500 grant toward the full cost of tuition. This reflects our mission as a Catholic Dominican high school committed to making an Edgewood education as available as possible to all.

CRUSADER FUND

— AREA OF GREATEST NEED

Your donation supports the immediate needs of our school, enhancing the Edgewood experience for ALL students, including academics, tuition assistance, student services, co-curriculars, fine arts, athletics and providing critical dollars to bridge the tuition gap. This fund must be replenished annually. Edgewood tuition does not fully cover the cost to educate each student.

FUNDRAISING for the PRESENT and the FUTURE

MAZZUCHELLI FUND - Tuition Assistance - Your donation provides additional need-based financial aid for families who are otherwise unable to afford an Edgewood education and provides tuition assistance for over 40 percent of our families each year.

ENDOWMENT FUND - Invest in our Future - Your donation ensures Edgewood’s future financial security and guarantees an Edgewood education by combining gifts from multiple donors into a single investment account. Funds may be restricted to Student Aid to help to make an Edgewood education more accessible to families. Gifts of a minimum of $10,000 can be used to start a named tuition grant recognizing someone who has been influential in your life.

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN FUND - Facilities Improvement - Your donation enhances the Edgewood experience and physical environment where our students learn and live out our Sinsinawa Dominican values by ensuring that the current and future needs for innovation, collaboration, access and security are met.

HOW CAN YOU HELP? WE NEED YOU!

Volunteer to help with any or all of our annual events: Edgewood in the Community, Crusader Kickoff, Giving Day, Encore, Poinsettia Sale, Spring Fling, and Wilke Golf Outing. Or attend an event!

Share your unique skills or professional expertise with us and give back to the Edgewood community.

Donate. We greatly appreciate your generosity and support! Your donations support all Edgewood students in academics, tuition assistance, co-curriculars, student services, athletics, fine arts and more.

WE STRIVE FOR 100% FAMILY PARTICIPATION AS THIS HELPS TO SECURE GRANTS FROM FOUNDATIONS AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO ENHANCE OUR OFFERINGS.

Our financial ability to meet the changing needs of our student body rests entirely on a combination of tuition and fees, income from outside business agreements, grants from foundations, sponsorship from the Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa, and the charitable support of our current families, alumni, parents of alumni and friends of EHS.

Every gift matters, no matter the size.
