L’OT el bruixot i el drac Ot the wizard and the dragon
L’Ot i la Berta esperen una visita. −Bona tarda, senyor Tadeu −diu la Berta−. Passi, passi, que prendrem el te.
Ot and Berta are expecting a visitor. “Good afternoon, Mr. Tadeu”, says Berta. “Come in, come in, so we can have a cup of tea.”
−Avui no facis màgia ni cap broma, eh? −avisa la Berta a l’Ot−. Recorda que el senyor Tadeu és molt espantadís.
“Don’t do any magic tricks or jokes today, ok?” Berta warns Ot. “Remember that Mr. Tadeu is very skittish.”
S’asseuen per prendre el te. Però, de sobte, el mussol udola: «UUUH». Quin ensurt que s’endú, el senyor Tadeu!
They sit down to have a cup of tea. But, suddenly, the owl hoots: “HOOO.” What a scare for Mr. Tadeu!
−Tranquil, senyor Tadeu −li diu la Berta−. No fugi, que el soroll l’ha fet el mussol! −I l’agafa perquè vol fugir.
“Don’t worry, Mr. Tadeu”, Berta claims. “Don’t run away, it was the owl who made the noise!” And holds him, as he wants to escape.
El mussol se’n va volant, així que sembla que podran acabar de prendre el te sense més ensurts.
The owl flies away, so it looks as if they will be able to drink their tea without any more scares.
Però llavors se sent un gran soroll: «XAAAP!» Tot tremola tant que fins i tot les tasses salten enlaire.
But suddenly they hear a loud noise: “BOOM!” Everything shook so much that even the cups flew up in the air.
