Alexco Resource Corp. (Alexco) operates two businesses: mineral exploration and development in Canada, in Yukon Territory, and under its Alexco Environmental Group division (AEG), the provision of consulting and project management services in respect of environmental permitting and compliance and site remediation and reclamation, in Canada and the United States. The Company’s mineral exploration and development activities are carried out within the Keno Hill district in the Yukon. The Company’s property within the Keno Hill district is the Bellekeno property. As of June 30, 2010, the Bellekeno mine was in development and construction.
