The Stables Ride across time and beauty. Horses have always been integral to life in America’s West, and this has not changed at Gateway Canyons. The Resort’s Equine Program takes place in the heart of Unaweep Canyon at The Stables at Gateway Canyons. We offer equine-centered personal or professional development programs, along with birthday parties that include pony rides, trail riding and horse painting.
STANDARD TRAIL RIDE (Available year round, weather permitting) A 90 minute ride accommodating up to 16 riders. Our experienced staff will match a rider with a horse, based on experience and comfort level. Half day, full day and customized trips also available.
RIDE & DINE (Available June - September, weather permitting) Enjoy stunning scenery and great horses as you ride to a beautiful mountainside pavilion. Our culinary professionals will grill your dinner as you take in the scenery.

Auto Museum Cruise through time. Devoted to understanding and celebrating the history, science, design and social impact of the American car, the Gateway Colorado Auto Museum’s collection is arranged in a timeline that captures 100 years of American automotive history, from the 1906 Cadillac Model H Coupe to the 2006 Ford Mustang “Stallion” Chip Foose Custom. More than 50 of the most prized classic cars in the country are on display at all times at the museum, including the one-of-a-kind 1954 Oldsmobile F-88 concept car.
