PERFORMANCE NOTES
[S] sound with mouth. Snare drum with very easy and fast snare on/off switch (lines from the top: anywhere on rim or side, next to the rim, in the middle) Sandpaper taped under the shoe to be slid on ‘a large piece: of sandpaper or cardboard secured to the floor
Right hand stick front end: thin light stick without head (pencil thickness) Right hand stick back end: rods Left hand stick front end: hard timpani stick (staccato) or similar Left hand stick back end: whiskers
The sticks are to be taped or tied together Whiskers and sandpaper should never make a hitting sound - only the sliding sound even if very short Whiskers are to make even sounding circle movements when not tremoloing No direction change or re-attack if not written ( )
PERFORMANCE NOTES
Snare on Snare off It is no problem if the switching on or off makes more than one sound - also if uneven. Individual dynamics for circled notes General dynamics for all 3 systems (overruled by circled notes) Impossible dynamics: as close as possible Crescendos are all to be performed as zooms - exponentially increasing
Roll (with one stick only) Fast tremolo non misurato
