Piano: Piano must be equipped with small contact microphones inside the piano in order to obtain maximum amplification of the following notes:
The pianist must be able to turn the amplification on and off during the piece. Furthermore, he/she should be equipped with two boards, one covering 1 octave, and the other covering about 6 octaves of the keyboard. Both boards should be covered with felt underneath and have handles on them, in order to give maximum control when using them. The boards may be obtained from the composer.
Explanation of special notations in score and parts:
Conductor must give a cue, in this case to pno. The musician must give a cue. Repeat: A) until cue, finish, and go on, or B) until cue and go on at once. Piano: damp string inside piano before and during playing. Piano: cluster with indication of top note. Trumpet: play one of the indicated notes inside the brackets.

Furthermore the pianist should be equipped with an about 11″ (29cm) board with one handle in the middle, and an about 35″ (88cm) board with two handles. Both boards should be covered with felt underneath. The pianist must be able to turn the amplification up and down during the piece.
