3 “She is Eddie’s grandmother and she planted the flowers in our schoolyard.”

Ms. Goldberg answers, “That’s right, Robin! Today, I am here to help you repair your schoolyard!” The students are excited and yell, “Hurray!”

Now, please tell me what needs to be repaired.

We will have to work together. It’s going to take some teamwork!

4 To help raise money to repair the

schoolyard, Ms. Goldberg, Mr. O’Dell, the teachers and the students all agree to have a bake sale. They will sell cupcakes! The students are very happy to participate in this project.

5 The day of the sale, the students

bring their cupcakes to school. They put up posters on the school walls and they decorate the entrance. “Great teamwork!” says Ariane. To be continued . . .
