The Company

Air Plast is primarily engaged in the processing of micronization and PolyEthylene Terephthalate and its use as raw material in polyurethane foam industry, as well as blends with other resins.

Products

Based on advanced research, the we developed the process of micronization of polymers rand its reological adjustment for application as a component in polyurethane foams in its various densities to replace part of the polyol. It also produces PET PoliolPoliéster basic applied in the formulation of polyurethane foam molded, rigid, structural, and other composite resins. Benefits of use: • Reduction of production costs • Ecological sustainability • Less gas emissions in the production process

Pet Micronised Polyurethane foams may include the Pet Micronised with the benefits of reducing production costs, reducing the emission of pollutants; Keeping the same mechanical properties in accordance with the technical rules governing the sector. The micronized Pet (TM-40) in extremely low particle size, can be the post industrial and post consumer enters the formulation of polyurethane foams to replace parts of polyol by weight ranging from 10% to 40% of According to the required density. Thus, the micronized Pet interacts with other components as part of the formulation of the foam has not, so the behavior or action of the “charge”, since maintaining the same mechanical properties required by law and not letting the ash content. The product is supplied with a percentage of the polymer nanoparticles

In line with the global trend of demand for new products with composites and sustainable reduction of production costs, we developed AIRPOL T400. This is a Polyol Polyester PET base, achieved through the process of depolymerization of polymer reactors, which resulted in a product with the same chemical properties of a conventional polyester polyol. The result in a high-miscible polyol, compatible with various MDIs from the market, with number of hydroxyl groups around 200 to 250 KOH / g (fee that can range from 60 to 450, according to need) and a viscosity between 2000 and 5000 PCs. The material finds perfect application in rigid foams, semirigid, molded, injected, and in various blends.

The Company The aramid fiber combines high strength, stiffness and low specific weight allowing the use of less material to achieve the same mechanical characteristics, is resistant to cracking, increases the rigidity of the structure, has high energy absorption and low extension, does not corrode in freshwater or saltwater and is noncombustible.

Carbon Fiber

Fiberglass The fabrics are structured in ways unidirectional, bidirectional, multiaxial and with different patterns (designs), various weights and widths allow great flexibility of application combining lightness, resistance to chemical deterioration, dimensional stability, dielectric properties and moisture resistance.

The pattern or design is how the wires are arranged and interwoven into the fabric. The most common designs are: plain, twill and satin. Fibertex速 produces fabrics whose weights range from 50 g/m2 to 1500 g/m2. The widths of the tissues may be standard as 1.30 m and 1.40 m, but also come in widths between 100 mm and 3.000 mm. There are also several options for combinations of wires, providing a wide range of thicknesses of fabric. Aramid Fiber

Lightness, stiffness, strength, low deformation and favorable thermal and electrical conductivity. these are some of the properties of carbon fiber, making it one of the best options for the manufacture of reinforced plastic parts. The plastic reinforced with carbon fiber has its origins in developments of space equipment and is used in this area since 1967. It is also used in airplanes, sporting goods like tennis rackets, golf clubs, fishing rods, bicycles and rowing, the automobile industry in race cars, construction and reinforcement, area medical surgical tables, prostheses and surgical guides for your X-rays, etc.

Hybrid Fabrics As the need for the final application, the fabrics for plastic reinforcement can also be produced by combining fiberglass, carbon fiber and aramid fiber.

Yarn Fiberglass, Aramid and Carbon The wires are available in different title (tex = g/km), textured and / or twisted into various configurations. They are highly used in industry, especially the textured yarn that provides significant improvements in pultruded because their fuses open and cause the resin to penetrate easily avoiding failures in the profile.

The aramid fiber used as reinforcement plastic has some advantages over other fibers. We must remember that the choice of fiber to be used in reinforced plastic must be based on the object and end-use purposes.
