HISTORIA DE BARBATE Hablar de Barbate es hablar de hermosas playas de fina arena blanca, aguas limpias y cristalinas en plena Costa de la Luz o de un faro, donde en sus alrededores tuvo lugar en 1805 una de las batallas navales más famosas de la historia, Trafalgar, que inmortalizó en sus Episodios nacionales Benito Pérez Galdós, iniciando la colección de cuarenta y seis novelas históricas Dos siglos después adquirió protagonismo con el libro Cabo Trafalgar, de Arturo Pérez-Reverte.
