Again, this year’s sale event will be held at the beautiful Virginia Tech Beef Center on the campus of Virginia Tech University. If you haven’t been to a past Prime Time sale you should put it on your list of sales to attend this fall sale season. One note regarding the Prime Time sale is that the sale has a great history of cattle and genetics working for their customers. In the recent AJSA National Junior show two daughters of H25 placed 10 overall in the percentage show and 13th overall in the purebred show. Congratulations to Cramer Schneider and the owners of H25, Mike Walters and Jered Shipman. A couple special lots sell out of past sale features and high sellers such as Dana and L24, the dam of Cottontail. Many donors have been highly successful out of past sales plus the list of satisfied customers is even greater. This year’s sale offering again has a great set of high quality genetics. The bred heifers are as strong as they have been at the Prime Time. Many of the breds after calving should be in a donor program. The select group of opens are top notch and several already have a winning track record. The embryo lots have great possibilities and will impact a program both purebred and SimAngus. The cow families represented in the Prime Time are breed standouts such as H25, B80, Jokers Queen, Sheza Fantasy, Joliette, Antoinette K205, She Delighful, Black Lady, Powerfection, Sadies Gem and more. Progeny out of these families are in many herds in the Southeast and across the United States. Many champions and sale toppers across the country have originated from cow herds from members of the Prime Time sale. Animals are bred to some of the top sires in the breed such as Dream On, In Dew Time, Movin Forward, Lucky Man, Club King, Explorer, Dominance, Built Right, Shock Force, Bettis, Shock & Awe, and more. The Prime Time group of breeders are proud of their offering and stand behind their product 100%. Whether you are a present Simmental breeder, Junior member, commercial breeder, or a new comer to the Simmental business, I encourage you to come and view the sale offering plus visit with the consignors regarding the positive cattle industry. Please come early and view the great Virginia Tech campus and the beef center. The Prime Time sale always appreciates their fine hospitality. If Drew, Holli, or myself can be of any assistance prior to or sale day, please contact us. Also, don’t forget to utilize the sale staff Jered Shipman, Smith Reasor, or Jeremie Ruble, your ASA Representative. As always we look forward to seeing you at the right time, the Prime Time.

• Selling 3 embryos guaranteeing 1 pregnancy if work is done by a certified embryologist. • L24 has proven herself as a producer, being the dam of KenCo Miley Cottontail and CAJS Elegant Force. Miley Cottontail had a successful show career and topped last year’s North American sale at $33,000. Elegant Force has also had a great show career, and has had many admirers. (Look for her at this year’s upcoming North American sale.) L24 is a daughter of the great H25, and a full sister to Jillian (Sweepstakes winner) and Olivia, along with many others. This cow family has produced too many great ones to mention, and these embryos sired by Upgrade should continue the legacy.

• Selling 2 sets of 3 embryos (choice of 3 matings but no more than 1 set per sire will be sold), guaranteeing one pregnancy from each set if work is performed by a certified embryologist. • Dana has generated so much excitement since entering our ET program, combining a proven pedigree with a flawless phenotype. This homo black and homo polled donor is a direct daughter of JM BF H25 and HC Power Drive, two legends in the breed. Too much can be said about the offspring of both H25 and Power Drive to fit into these footnotes, but do a little homework and you will find a tremendous number of successful and profitable cattle from both sides of Dana’s pedigree. Power Drive females have been said to be some of the best donors in the breed, and Dana is one of the most beautiful and complete Power Drive females that we have seen. The mating to SVF Steel Force will produce calves that are closely related to the females that the Schneider family of Kentucky has been winning banners with across the country. Embryos sired by Flying B Cut Above will be exciting outcross calves with breed-changing potential. CLO LTS Entourage, the 2009 National Champion bull, is already siring champions that have performance and style. Invest in any mating…you can’t go wrong! Owner:

• Olivia is a exceptional daughter of H25. She has produced several show calves and she herself stood in the purple many times during her show career. She is the dam of Lady Remington a sale topper sold in the Prime Time several years ago to KenCo Cattle and the dam of Remington 40x. Her recent calf stood 6th overall in the Eastern Regionals in Pennsylvania last month, shown by Cramier Schnieder, this is a exciting mating to Upgrade and I’m sure you want be disappointed. Having plenty of width and overall dimension, R086 is also very attractive from the profile and extremely balanced from end to end. It is these physical characteristics that led Pine Ridge Simmentals to selecting her as a high selling lot out of The Living Legacy V Sale last October. As well as being phenotypically superior, R086 is genetically powerful. She is a direct Sadie daughter, who is out of the legendary Bertha 46D. To date, more than 10 “Sadie” family members have sold through The Living Legacy Sales, averaging over $12,000 per head. Take this opportunity to buy into a powerful and predictable cow family. • Selling a package of 5 embryos, guaranteeing 2 pregnancies if work is done by a certified embryologist. • Deep bodied, easy fleshing, powerful genetics in these 600U x GFI Skippy embryos that are the only ones we have ever offered for sale! The breed legend 600U needs no introduction and the GFI Skippy donor female was our selection from Gramm Farms in Minnesota at a past NAILE Sale. She is a granddaughter of the famous “9A” female, the dam of our well-known Full House bull, and was purchased for her overwhelming muscle shape, power and dimension. The females from this mating will make as powerful a set of brood cows as you will find - a full sib to these embryos was the popular Lot 60 female that was one of last year’s high sellers in the Prime Time Sale at $2,750. The bull calves are easily marketed as well - we can sell 600U sons to commercial bull buyers all day long! A neat chance to add some proven and productive genetics to the foundation of your herd! • A nice made, moderate framed, solid black open heifer from the heart of my 2009 born calves and a 3/4 sister to the WR63 heifer. • Super nice Fall 2008 bred heifer from the heart of the herd and right out of our show string! Awesome pedigree loaded with calving ease being an In Dew Time female out of our Power Stroke donor cow. Exhibited just three times, this female was division champion or reserve at both KILE and the PA State Farm Show and stood 4th in her September class at the NAILE. Great numbers across the board, top 5% for both CE and API. Consistent and predictable genetics- her Power Stroke dam also produced the Grand champion Female at the 2010 PA Farm Show! • T7 is a good uddered, loose made 3 year old that has done a good job for us so far. Her first born heifer calf will sell in The Living Legacy VI Sale as one of our lead bred heifers. T7 weaned off an extra heavy bull calf this year that should be popular at our Bulls of the Big Sky sale next February. This cow will add hip, stout bone, and plenty of pounds at weaning time. Combine that with her balanced set of EPDs and her future looks bright. • AI: CLRWTR Shock Force, ASA# 2496698 on 5-28-10 Owner:
