Tom & Lois Ames, Owners
Thank you for taking the time to evaluate the 2010 Elite Standards Sale offering. I welcomed the opportunity to work with this group of great cattle breeders to assemble an exceptionally complete offering for your evaluation. I truly believe that there’s something for everyone in this year’s sale. Different ages, unique matings, wild colors, and a variety of types can be found amongst the 40 lots. See the cattle before you arrive on October 16 on the DVD provided at the back of this catalog. I encourage you to contact the consignors directly; these cattlemen and women know their herds and genetics the best. You may notice a few new names on the consignor sheet this year. The foundation consignors--Spruce Mountain Ranch, Jason & Mary Sue Liss & Rod Kerchal--hand picked a group of consignors to join them this year. Consignors are accepted on a case-by-case basis depending on their purchases from previous Elite Standards, reputability and calf crop quality. If you’re interested in consigning in future years, please contact a foundation consignor. Make plans to join all of us on October 16 at the Spruce Mountain Ranch. The auction will begin at 4:30 p.m. with entertainment, dinner and drinks to follow the conclusion of the sale.
