A group of Oklahoma Limousin breeders working together to furnish funds for a Limousin/Lim-Flex show back program for heifer calves purchased at designated auction sales in Oklahoma where other show back incentives are not offered. Each breeder designates their show heifer prospects and contributes $100 per head to the premium purse, or the sale (production or consignment) may designate all heifers in the required age limits as “Leading Limousin Ladies” if purchased by a junior exhibitor. BRED - Definition: Female has been served by a bull or artificially inseminated to a bull but does not mean this female is safe in calf to that service. PASTURE EXPOSED OR PASTURE BRED - Definition: Female has been running in the pasture with the bull and has been exposed to the bull for a period of time as stated but does not necessarily mean that this female is safe in calf. SAFE IN CALF - Definition: Female has been palpated and diagnosed pregnant at the date of examination by a licensed veterinarian as per the accompanying signed veterinarian certificate. FERTILITY TESTED - Definition: Bulls’ semen has been tested by a licensed veterinarian or a recognized A.I. breeding center and is considered a satisfactory breeder as per the accompanying signed veterinarian certificate.
