Ambassador Highlight The Voice - Spring 2023

Day Job: Director of Business Development for Arledge & Associates, P.C., a locally owned CPA firm with offices in Edmond and north OKC.

Originally From: Ada, OK. William Jeff Reed, one of the town’s founders and the first general store proprietor and U.S. Postmaster was my Great Grandfather. He named the town after his eldest daughter, Ada, who was my maternal grandfather’s sister. My wife (also from Ada) and I moved to Edmond on January 7, 1983, and we’re now in our third home. And I still carry an “Ada” coin because I am proud of my family heritage and hometown roots.

Family: Robbie (married 42 years as of March 14, 2023), who works for the Edmond Public School System; Christopher (son) and Brooke (daughter-in-law) Scott who are the parents of our two grandchildren; along with, Jessica (daughter) and Jeff Payne (sonin-law.)

What is your favorite thing about being an Ambassador for the Chamber? I very much enjoy meeting, getting to know, and working with local business owners and Edmond community leaders. Fellow Ambassadors and other Chamber volunteers, and the entire Chamber staff, are eager to help business owners succeed just as Edmond continues to grow and flourish.
