Traveling Trivia Game • Entry Fee is $15 per vehicle • Release form available on LibertyFest.org • Registration begins at 10am – Release Forms, License, and Insurance Required at Registration • First Car Out 11am and Last Car Out 2pm • Awards Ceremony 5pm at Earl’s Rib Palace. • All participants will register/start/end at Earl’s Rib Palace, 2121 S. Broadway.
2022 LibertyFest Road Rally. The event is designed as a fun family event and is really easy to participate in. It is a scavenger hunt on wheels.
Instructions, driving directions, and questions are given to you at the starting line at Earl’s Rib Palace. Follow the directions to tour the city answering questions as you go. As you leave, Road Rally officials will also note both the time your vehicle leaves and your vehicle mileage, recording it on your Road Rally Answer Sheet.
TIP: Bring a clipboard or something to write on and several pens or pencils with you.
The course lasts less than two hours. The car with the most correct answers and having the closest time and mileage to the ideal time and mileage is declared the winner. It is important to realize that this is NOT a race but a timed event. Finishing too fast is just as bad as finishing too slowly.
Registration on the day of the Road Rally will begin at 10 am. The first car will leave at 11 am. Participants can leave anytime between 11 am and 2 pm. (you can register and then come back to begin.) Online registrants must also check in.
Alcoholic beverages are prohibited at all LibertyFest events.
The entrance fee is $15.00 per vehicle. Trophies are awarded to the top five finishers with the lowest scores and for the last place. There must be at least two people per vehicle – a driver and a navigator. Many cars actually have several people in them. The more eyes look-ing, the better. There is one word of warning: The Road Rally has tested people’s relationships and marriages in the past…and will un-doubtedly do so in the future.
A good sense of direction (and sense of humor), logic, and common sense all come into play. Some answers are easy; others are tricky. The challenge is there for you to take.
Road Rally answers and trophy presentation will be at 5 pm. Please park next to Earl’s Rib Palace by Edmond Furniture Gallery and bring your chairs. Please note that it could be sunny and hot at this time. The Road Rally Awards Ceremony ends at 6 pm.
