Entrevistar a Gabriela Lemus, fue como saber que Dios ama y cuida de sus hijos, cuando se disponen sinceramente. Ella da fiel testimonio de que la obediencia a los padres es una recompensa de amor que produce gozo y la certeza que Dios respalda la fidelidad . Logra transmitir su pasión por Dios cuando canta para adorar. Una joven moderna , feliz, disciplinada , tierna y muy determinada por lo que quiere. En el libro de Marcos, ha encontrado muchas respuestas a sus inquietudes ayudándola a conocer mejor a Dios y mejorar su relación con Jesús. A sus 18 años, tiene clara su misión de servir a Dios. Valientemente decide asistir a Hillsong College, para mejorar el talento musical y artístico que reconoce es dado por Dios para expandir el evangelio. Los consejos de sus padres siempre importantes aunque como joven , nos expresa haber tenido desacuerdos, ella respeta y obedece a sus padres. El pastor Visu Dhanaraj , le dijo: si lees la Biblia , allí encontrarás y entenderás el propósito de Dios para tu vida .

Gaby Lemus is someone who is full of joy, life, and confidence. I’m definitely not perfect but I’m way better now Gabriela Lemus than I was 10 years ago, when I was a shy girl who tried to hide from the world , and was insecure. I know now my identity in Jesus, that there’s never anything to be ashamed of or be insecure about because I’m secure in Christ and in his kingdom ’ve known about Jesus all my life. I thank my parents for raising me in a Christ centered environment. I made the decision when I was 10 years old at the Harvest conference, and started to read a beginners bible. It was hard to maintain my relationship with God when not a lot of my friends were Christian and God wasn’t “cool ” in high school . I think being at Hillsong College realigned my faith . I made the decision myself to follow the calling upon my life and totally commit my life fully to him . For me to have a genuine relationship with God is to read the Bible because everything he said is in there and the word has truth and life in it. I also make sure I pray and talk to him throughout the entire day. My relationship with God is the closest and most special relationship because God is the only one who knows everything about me. I know he loves me more than anything so I love him more than anything and put him above everything in this life.To be a worship leader it is a big responsibility. You need to have a close relationship to have and make sure you are doing it for His glory and not for you . Worship is to bring people closer to God . It’s a gift and blessing given by God to lead people to his presences. I feel his presence more than ever when I worship. When I sing worship I ’m proclaiming all the words in the songs over myself and the congregation . When I sing I want to fight for people and break the chains off their life.The Holy Spirit, helps me, guides me, and lives in me. He is always telling me the good thing to do.

Gabriela Lemus Being baptized in the Holy Spirit has allowed me to be able to speak life and encouragement over people’s lives and to speak in tongues. The Holy Spirit always lead me to the right path to be more like Jesus but it’s up to me whether to listen to what God is trying to tell me everyday. My parents have been my biggest supporters. I thank them for pushing me when I wanted to give up or thought I wasn’t good enough, I am truly blessed. I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for them. They make me better and make me want to love

I’m always hearing the truth that God says in the Bible! The world tells woman how to be and how to act. But I know God tells me who I am and he is my identity and no one or anything else can do that.I’ve been getting heart surgery at Hillsong College. This means healing in the name of Jesus.

Whether it be healing insecurity that was holding me back from God or getting rid of things that didn’t make me Christ like. There was an issue that I wasn’t aware that I had until me aligns with God’s word. Sometimes I wasn’t right in my heart about this like jealousy or money. Having this spiritual heart surgery has helped me because more Christ like, whether it is, being generous to strangers or having the confidence to give a prophecy to someone. It has been a journey to find my true identity in Christ Jesus to be more like him, to die to this worldly flesh, to live my life for Jesus in every decision I make.I think God is calling me to lead worship and be creative. I want to lead worship in places that need it. Like in Guatemala there are a lot of small churches that need help to make the worship better and more creative. I want to teach the less fortunate children about worshipping Jesus through teaching them how to sing and play instruments! I think music brings people together and there’s something special when everyone is worshipping God together.
