As we start the new year, we reflect on all that we have already accomplished together with our partners, and we are resolute about the important work that lies ahead of us. Educate Texas is proud to support educators in the success of students across the state. There is much to be hopeful for this year and beyond.
Thinking Bigger With Our 2025 Strategic Plan Educate Texas’ 2025 Strategic Plan challenges us to think bigger about what we can accomplish for students and teachers, as we strive towards two essential goals: •
Adding 85,000 new higher education degrees and certificates in Texas.
•
Enabling schools to better attract, prepare, develop and retain more high quality and diverse teachers to improve our state’s effective teaching workforce.
We will continue to track data and support efforts along the entire cradle to career educational pathway, while focusing on making the greatest impact in the following areas: •
Increase in credentials earned in high school
•
Increase in students going to college
•
Increase in students graduating from higher education institutions
To accomplish this, we need everyone to think bigger about how we ensure every student can reach their full potential. Together, we can build a thriving Texas.
