Two young gamma wolves sat on the patio steps. Gammas were the soldiers of the pack, all male. They hunt and protect.ButforKona,theyhadanotherjob:spying.Theyreportedallhermovements,andifshehadn’tbeenwithherthree brothers,theywouldhavebeenfollowingherlikepesteringshadows.
