Winter squash has much harder skin than summer squash. Squash are a fruit!

Examples of winter squash are pumpkins, acorn & butternut.

All squash are related to melons!

Summer squash grow faster than winter squash. 1 acre of land could grow around 11,000 squash!

Winter squash takes 80 – 120 days to mature after being planted.

Alemaya Farm was founded by husband and wife Johnathan & Cynthia Wilcox. Alemaya Farm was started in 2012.
