Our people are our priority. Without them, we simply would not be the success story we are today.

We therefore understand how important it is to listen to our employees and take on board their valuable feedback.

Justteachers are committed to protecting the health, safety and wellbeing of all our staff and as such we now have three justteachers Wellbeing Champions who will individually make their introductions to you, depending upon which office you are based, soon after you have joined and settled into justteachers As well as explaining our full wellbeing programme to you, they are also available to signpost you to external Mental Health and Wellbeing resources, should you so require at any stage in your jt career.

We believe in nurturing an open and honest culture from the get-go of your employment with justteachers and therefore it is important for every single member of staff to feel that they have someone within the business that they can turn to in times of need.

MANAGER

Having dedicated, mental health first-aid trained Wellbeing Champions is a fantastic resource for new starters across justteachers.

We are incredibly fortunate to be part of a company where our work/life balance is respected and supported. At justteachers, we are provided with the necessary tools and support to thrive both within and beyond the workplace.

Our approach to Employee Wellbeing goes beyond tick boxes. We have developed a programme that continuously evolves, ensuring that every voice is heard and that each member of the jt Family feels valued and integral to our collective success.

I am really proud to be a part of the jt Wellbeing team and look forward to welcoming new starters to the NW branch and across the business.

Caring about employee wellbeing is a fundamental aspect of creating a workplace where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to thrive both professionally and personally. This is why, when people have settled in and learned their ‘trade’, we tend to retain our jt Family members for a long long time! We also place great emphasis on ensuring our staff are seen and most definitely heard and there’s nothing we value more than constructive feedback!

NEW FOR 2024:

We are always striving to enhance and add to our extensive JT wellbeing programme to ensure our employees feel valued, supported and motivated. We are excited to announce a new addition for 2024: the Perkbox platform. This innovative platform is available to all employees, providing a comprehensive range of perks and benefits to enhance professional and personal wellbeing and support employees with the cost of living. Employees will have access to exclusive discounts and deals such as:

Support for Your Mental Health & Wellbeing:

'Health Assured' Employee Assist Programme- Access up to 8 free counselling sessions in total per year (can consist of face-to-face, telephone and/or video sessions). Your cover extends to your spouse, partner, civil partners and children over the age of 16* living in the same household

Mental Health Champions- Trained by St Johns Ambulance

Internal training sessions- stress and time management

External training, for example, Growth Mindset

Healthy Work-life Balance- Impressive holiday entitlement (41 days including bank holidays and your birthday off)

Opportunity to buy 5 additional Annual Leave days

Reduced working hours in school holidays: 9 am-3 pm Monday to Thursday and 9 am-1 pm on Fridays
