TENNESSEE TECH UNIVERSITY MULTINATIONAL AND LEGACY SCHOLARSHIPS As a comprehensive university, Tennessee Tech University (TTU) offers more than 40 bachelor's and 23 graduate degree programs within six academic divisions: Agricultural and Human Sciences, Arts and Sciences, Business, Education, Engineering, and Interdisciplinary Studies and Extended Education. Tennessee Tech University offers a scholarship of $3800 per semester for students with a 3.3 GPA in high school or for transfer students from abroad or within the United States. The Multinational Scholarship offers students from nationalities in which TTU does not have a large number of students the opportunity to attend TTU. MARYVILLE COLLEGE INTERNATIONAL DIVERSITY FULL-TUITION SCHOLARSHIPS Maryville College is ideally situated in Maryville, Tennessee, between the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Knoxville, the state‘s third largest city. Known for its academic rigor and its focus on the liberal arts, Maryville is where students come to stretch their minds, stretch themselves and learn how to make a difference in the world. UNIVERSITY OF LOUISIANA MONROE TUITION WAIVERS The University of Louisiana at Monroe is a comprehensive, state-funded institution of higher education offering high quality educational and experiential opportunities to meet the academic,cultural, vocational, social and personal needs of undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education students. In addition to the out-of-state fee waiver of $8,820/year, you may be eligible to receive an additional award based on your GPA and ACT/SAT test scores. COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY PUEBLO SEMESTER GRANTS AND EMPLOYMENT AWARDS Colorado State University at Pueblo is nestled in a historically and culturally rich community of more than 100,000 people, located in the southern part of the state near the foothills of the Rocky Mountains—just a short drive to Denver and Colorado Springs. FAIRLEIGH DICKINSON UNIVERSITY MERIT-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS The largest private university in New Jersey, Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) is a not-for-profit, nonsectarian, multicampus institution. Founded in 1942, FDU achieved four-year status in 1948 and approval as a university in 1956. Scholarship consideration is given to non-U.S. citizens worldwide and to U.S. citizens who reside outside the United States. BARD COLLEGE DISTINGUISHED SCIENTIST SCHOLARS PROGRAM Building on a 150-year history as a competitive and innovative undergraduate institution, Bard College’s mission has expanded across the country, around the world, and to meet broader student needs. Now, more than 1,900 undergraduates and 300 graduate students study in Bard programs, plus more than 1,000 students in our high schools and early colleges. Each year, four-year scholarships covering up to full tuition are available for academically outstanding high school seniors who are committed to majoring in biology, chemistry, physics, or mathematics as an undergraduate. Additional financial aid to cover remaining costs, such as room and board, may be applied for and will be awarded on the basis of need. Additional assistance will take the form of a loan or campus employment. COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY TEACHERS COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS Teachers College, Columbia University, is committed to a vision of education writ large, encompassing our four core areas of expertise: health, education, leadership and psychology. Each year Teachers College awards over $7 million of its own funds and $2 million of endowed funds to new and continuing students. There are over 300 endowed funds provided by the generosity of donors. The majority are specific to a particular program. GEORGIA COLLEGE OFFERS NEW MASTER'S IN LOGISTICS AND SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT Georgia College is pleased to announce that its master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is now available to international students. It is intended for persons in the government sector and private industry with career fields related to logistics. SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY HOSTS COMMON GROUND FOR PEACE FORUM Syracuse University has announced its hosting of a landmark two-day forum, “Common Ground for Peace,” on October 8 -9, 2012 led by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, spiritual leader of Tibet. The forum convenes international thought leaders, the SU campus and the greater Syracuse community. The two-day schedule includes academic panel discussions for faculty and students, a public talk by the Dalai Lama and a festival-style concert in the Carrier Dome featuring musicians from around the world. PENN STATE OPENS FLEXIBLE ADMISSIONS FOR LAW STUDENTS Penn State is a multicampus public research university that educates students from Pennsylvania, the nation and the world, and improves the well being and health of individuals and communities through integrated programs of teaching, research, and service. Recognizing that not everyone can start an LL.M. program in August, Penn State Law offers the option for students to begin the LL.M. program in January for the spring semester and is now accepting applications for admission to the LL.M. program in January 2013; deadline for admission is October 31. MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY HOSTS INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SUMMIT Michigan State University, in partnership with the Tokyo University of Agriculture, is hosting more than 50 students and 34 academic leaders from 27 countries on campus in October. Historically, the International Student Summit on Food, Agriculture and the Environment has been held in Japan at the Tokyo University of Agriculture. This year, for the first time, the summit is being held outside of Japan. The students will present research projects in the areas of food production and sustainable energy.
