Study at a day school and live with an American host family

The quintessential American high school life! Educatius Select Day High Schools let you choose the school that matches your dreams.

Are you drawn to the vibrant energy of cities like Boston, Los Angeles, or Seattle? Or do you dream of the sunshine of Miami and Phoenix? Want to build your pathway to a top American university? Or score the winning touchdown in front of your cheering classmates?

Our public high schools are in the most in-demand locations, have a large student population, and the fewest international students for those who really want an immersion. But your study duration will be limited to a semester or academic year. It’s great for international students who intend to return to their home country after their exchange.

For those planning a longer academic journey, our private day schools are the perfect path to a prestigious American high school diploma. International students can choose options for a semester, academic year or multiple years. With access to top-tier private schools across the United States, you can customize your educational experience to align with your academic and athletic ambitions.

In all cases, you’ll experience American life with the warm welcome of your host family. And dedicated support from our local coordinators and student experience team will enrich your journey, backed by our 100% Host Family Happiness Commitment.

Want to earn a USA Diploma in 1 year?

Many public or private day schools offer this opportunity for students who study in grade 12. Join graduation and apply to US or global universities with this accomplishment.

The Educatius F-1 school program in the USA has been certified by CSIET for 10 consecutive years, meeting and exceeding quality standards. Since 2017 Educatius has welcomed the highest number of international students on CSIET-certified F-1 programs.

Study at a boarding school and live with friends on campus

At our boarding schools across the USA, international students can attend the elite schools of the American school system. Many students choose boarding schools so that they can attend a top-ranked American or global university — it's the best preparation for your academic career!

Living on campus in a boarding school dorm is amazing! Adult supervisors are always available to lend support in whatever challenges you might face. It's also just a lot of fun! You’ll be sleeping, eating, studying and hanging out with your fellow students, building lifelong friendships with future leaders in politics, business and the arts.

American Boarding schools have outstanding sport facilities, academic resources, fantastic programs in the arts, and small class sizes for individualized attention from teachers. You’ll benefit a supportive environment and live with classmates from all over the world. Our boarding schools are in major cities, idyllic towns, near mountains and close to beaches.

My dream is to be a game designer. This school has year-long computer programming courses, and an app design class during the January Term. Living in the dorm is comfortable, we have everything that we need for our daily life. Students who live in the dorm are nice to each other. I learned a lot about other cultures and made a lot of friends.

“I

really loved this experience of living in the dorm. Especially the fact that I was free to go and visit my friends’ rooms. It was cool to have a roommate too! Even though it was hard at the beginning to speak English or even make friends, everything got better, I just needed time to open up.”

Stephanie from France, studied in Illinois

Our mission extends beyond the classroom

We believe in the transformative power of education, and we are dedicated to making a positive and long-lasting impact on the world. We have aligned our sustainability goals with those of the United Nations and are proud of our impactful initiatives around the globe.

Offsetting student travel

We are dedicated to offsetting the environmental impact of student international travel and integrating sustainability into our business practices. Expanding beyond our support of Aiducatius’ responsible tree planting, we have made a further commitment to invest in global climate action projects. From 2023, Educatius will partially offset the carbon emissions produced by student air travel, based on calculations made by an independent organization.

High school students’ well-being

Year after year, Educatius welcomes thousands of international students from more than 60 nations. The Global Youth Resilience Initiative is our mission to support resilience among our high school students embarking on transformative journeys, paving the way for personal growth!

Giving back

While studying abroad may be an achievable dream for some, not all students have that chance. Meet Aiducatius, our sister organization, supporting schools in Africa and Latin America to enhance their programs and improve student access to education. Aiducatius also provides essentials like uniforms,

meals, plants fruit trees and digs wells. This handson aid ensures sustainable education, benefiting not just the students but their families and communities. Every Educatius international student contributes to these positive changes.

Growing sustainable impact

Recognizing the negative consequences of air travel that international student exchange requires, we have been supporting tree planting and conservation projects in Tanzania since 2009. In 2022 alone, we planted a total of 12,350 trees in schools and health centers in Tanzania, benefitting more than 60,000 youth.
