Do you know we live in a world where more than one billion people are under-nourished while another billion are overweight? In this course you will understand the challenges in public health, food security. You will explore the connections among diet, the current food and food animal production systems, consider factors such as economics, population and equity. You will learn complex relationships between all these as well as alternative approaches to achieving both local and global food security.
Assessment This course does not involve any written exams. Students need to answer 5 assignment questions to complete the course, the answers will be in the form of written work in pdf or word. Students can write the answers in their own time. Each answer needs to be 200 words (1 Page). Once the answers are submitted, the tutor will check and assess the work.
