How to Reduce Teaching Gaps Among Teachers & Students

Humans have the tendency to develop skills. However, the methods used at different times would be different. Each stage is important and interdependent on each other.

Teaching process generally includes different stages:

• Presenting • Explaining • Reviewing • Assessing

PRESENTING

Presentation of a fresh idea is to be done clearly and effectively. It sets the foundation and creates interest in the minds of students. This stage also gives a chance for teacher to understand the students as what prior knowledge they have.

EXPLAINING

It is the most loved stage and offers teachers a chance to share their knowledge and experience. Regular checks of understanding and learning are to be performed. Teachers can get signals by raising flags, temperature check techniques and understanding questions.

REVIEWING

Reviewing helps in gaining greater insights as whatever are being explained to kids is getting captured or not. Reviewing further can be of two types: • Ongoing Review • Review at Multiple Intervals

ASSESSING

At the end of learning, assessment is required which can actually keep a track of your teaching. Lot of stress is placed in this area, but still it is very important. It is crucial to identify the learning gaps. Teachers at Eduwizards make all the efforts to get all these things right.
