CASE STUDY Overview: The New York Times was contacted by Chevron, a long time advertiser who wanted to produce an integrated A/R Viewer for distribution inside the NY Times Sunday Edition in Washington DC area. Objective: Chevron wanted to reach a DC consumer market of about 55,000 people on November 13th 2017 to showcase their new innovative drilling platform technology Challenge: Chevron’s decision to move forward with the project came the last week of September, leaving 7 weeks to design, print, deliver and insert the lay flat V/R viewers Lay Flat Viewers: The NY Times contacted Directed Online to see if this new viewer could be designed and produced in the time frame allotted, which was easily facilitated. Deliverable: The Lay Flat V/R ViewersTM were delivered to the NY Times for insertion ahead of schedule at the quoted price allowing the NY Times to provide a new solution. Conclusion: The NY Times provided an on-time & successful deliverable for Chevron, allowing them to announce their new Energy solutions while utilizing new technology in a easy to distribute format provided by Directed Online.
