After a study of the architect Peter Zumthor's techniques, we developed a design from a Catholic parish using design strategies of this architect. This project brings together a harmonious sequence of spaces, lighting and natural ventilation, as well as the service of a community center. All this leads to a goal of having a excellent sensory experience as you travel through the spaces.

Site
The SESC are multiple projects with social, educational, recreational, medical and artistic services. This project seeks to break the urban wall by extending the plaza to elaborate make one where you develop these multiple activities, not only within the project but also throughout it's surroundings to attend all the public.

The project to develop a hostel in the area of Santurce, was developed throughsite studies. We created perpendicular lines with respect to the possible different views, to achieve the same is we developed a squematic concept, producing the final shape of the project.

The project was not only designed to to have views outward, but also towards it's interior. It's for this reason, that there has been created an inner courtyard with its recreational area which also promotes safety at the first level of the project.

PARK[ING] DAY 2011 Prof, Andrea Bauza & VicToR NieTo Parking day is an international day to appropriate spaces usually reserved for the use of cars and recreate the space with a new concept in
which over 180 cities and 30 countries participate around the world. This is a way to raise awareness of the spaces occupied by the car which could well be open spaces in the urban context for recreation and social enjoyment.
The pavilion consists of two parts the first in an "L" shape that allow rest, interaction, and fluid circulation through it. Both pieces allow the piece to be adaptable to different sizes, in this case a parking lot.

The pieces were built on three different modules which are then joined to create the pieces in an "L" shape. This allows for easy transport of the ephemeral pavilion to it's intended destination. The materials used were recycled cardboard tubes collected from printing presses of Puerto Rico. Las 2 piezas del pabell贸n efimero permiten adaptarlo a diferentes medidas, to no the solo de los estacionamientos. The structure works, in addition sino, high strength of the cylindrical tubes, across the rows of cardboard tubes placed in an "x" form creating a three-dimensional grid. This pavilion can also serve as a
playground for children.

This research seeks to understand why are distributed almost all shopping centers of the city of Bayam贸n along over the road 167. It delves into the Bayamon history analyzing all the development from its founding to the present day. Finally, a cartography is generated with a different conception from the geographic maps for visualize the shopping centers, their distribution and their effects over the 167 road.

Application development for nutrition

This is an example of the development of an application for nutrition that visually representing the negative or positive relationship of some foods with certain diseases. Foods are ranked by their respective families, represented by colors and iconography in the color bar . Below this, there is a line graph that represent the level of cholesterol, calories, fat and protein for each food in the diagram. At the start of this lines, where the legend is , it also positions a bar chart of world consumption of these four categories .
Once inside of the circle graph is composed of small circles. Blacks represent diseases and colors represents the foods aligned with the iconography and classified by their family. The size of the circles corresponds to the global amount of consumption of the food and in the case of disease correspond to the frequency. These will begin to relate by green, red and black arc. The greens are beneficial relations, the reds are not beneficial relations and blacks are the relationships between diseases. The general idea is to develop an app where you can choose one of the inner circles and see their positive and negative relationships. Obviously, the possibilities of expanding the list of foods and disease are many so for this exercise we limited to a few.
