THE MODAL SILK SCARF
Modal is a semi-synthetic fiber made from beech tree pulp, known for its softness, breathability, and luxurious feel. Often considered a sustainable alternative to traditional fabrics, Modal is favored in fashion and textiles due to its eco-friendly properties. The production of Modal involves a closed-loop process where solvents are recycled, minimizing waste and harmful emissions. Because it comes from renewable resources, it is a more sustainable choice compared to synthetic fibers like polyester.
A Modal and silk scarf combines the best of both worlds, marrying the silky smoothness of silk with the sustainability of Modal. The result is a lightweight, breathable accessory that’s not only stylish but also kind to the environment. The natural luster of silk enhances the soft drape of Modal, creating a scarf that feels luxurious against the skin while also providing durability and wrinkle resistance.
In addition to being environmentally friendly, Modal is biodegradable, which means that once the scarf reaches the end of its life, it can decompose naturally without harming the planet. This makes a Modal and silk scarf not just a fashionable choice, but a responsible one as well, allowing consumers to express their style while supporting sustainable practices in the textile industry.

From the Fibonacci sequence to the teachings of Aristotle, Lentsch attempts to create a bridge between the natural world and these intellectual canons, exploring the interconnection between the realms of science and mysticism, the metaphysical and the spiritual. He explores how these three facets are integrated within a global environment and moreover how we, as humans, fit within this complex matrix...”
