CAMERON POE-MITCHELL | FAYETTE COUNTY Wide receiver/Running back, Jr., 6-1, 170 Poe-Mitchell was the electrifying playmaker for the Tigers in their run to the quarterfinals of the 4A playoffs. He caught 60 passes for 859 yards and nine touchdowns and added 611 yards and 16 touchdowns rushing. He added two more touchdowns on kick returns.

DIAHEEM WATKINS | BIBB COUNTY Defensive end, Sr., 6-4, 245 Watkins spearheaded the Choctaw’s stout defense, which shut out six of its 14 opponents. The 2010 4A Lineman of the Year recorded 73 tackles, nine sacks, two caused fumbles, one recovered fumble and one blocked kick in Bibb County’s run to the semifinals.

DaMARCUS JAMES | DEMOPOLIS Running back, Sr., 5-10, 210 James makes his second consecutive Super 11. He rushed for 1,828 yards and 19 touchdowns as Demopolis went 8-4 and into the second round of the 5A playoffs. James recently decommitted from Washington State and is expected to choose from UAB, Troy and South

Fullback/Linebacker, Sr., 6-0, 230 Howard did it all for the Greenwave. He led the team in rushing with 1,414 yards and 18 touchdowns in Gordo’s run to the Class 3A semifinals. He also led the team in tackles with 112. If that weren’t enough, he also handled kicking and punting duties, with an average of 41.0 yards per punt including a long of 58.

WEST ALABAMA MVP GREG HOWARD | GORDO

SUPER 11 Linebacker, Sr., 6-0, 210 Sunseri turned heads with his ability to make the first blocker miss. He made 144 tackles with 19 tackles for loss and three interceptions. He added four quarterback hurries, four fumble recoveries and two touchdowns. He is committed to the University of Alabama.

MARVELL BELL | BIBB COUNTY Right tackle, Sr., 6-3, 310 Was the anchor to an offensive line that rushed for more than 2,500 yards. He graded out at 81 percent for the season and had 18 pancake blocks as the Choctaws made it to the semifinals of the 4A playoffs.

KENDARIUS FRITTS | LINDEN

Running back, Sr., 5-11, 194 Fritts was named the Class 1A Back of the Year by the Alabama Sports Writers Association for the second straight season. He rushed for 1,900 yards and 30 touchdowns as the Patriots made it to the 1A semifinals. He has a scholarship offer from Vanderbilt.

TOYVIAN BRAND | HILLCREST

Defensive end, Sr., 6-3, 245 Undoubtedly the engine on the Patriots’ defense, Brand created havoc for opposing offenses all season. He finished the season with 11 sacks and 16 tackles for loss and 15 quarterback pressures in 11 games as the Patriots won Class 6A Region 5 for the first time since 2003.

MALIK CHINN | TUSCALOOSA COUNTY

Linebacker, Sr., 5-11, 210 Chinn accounted for 104 tackles — 77 solo and 27 assists — in helping lead a defense that allowed 12.5 points a game. He also had a touchdown, a blocked kick and three caused fumbles in 11 games. Coach Lee Gibson called him ‘the best leader I’ve ever coached.’

BROCK HALL | PAUL W. BRYANT

Quarterback, Sr., 6-3, 190 An opposing coach said Hall was the reason the Stampede advanced to the playoffs for just the second time in the school’s existence. He threw for 1,682 yards on 97 of 187 passing for 14 touchdowns and four interceptions. He also rushed for 767 yards on 110 attempts for 12 touchdowns. He has scholarship offers from Troy and Memphis.

AUSTIN GRAMMER | ACA

Quarterback, Jr., 6-2, 195 Grammer broke onto the scene his junior season with a staggering touchdown-to-interception ratio. His 33 touchdowns measured against just one interception was a big reason ACA advanced to the 2A seminfinals. He threw for 2,519 yards on 145 of 207 passing and ran for another 600 yards and eight touchdowns.
