Children from kindergarten in Wola Filipowska built a snowman.
He had perfect shapes, buttons and eyes from carbide, a nose from a carrot. His head was decorated with an old fleshpot. In his left hand he had a broom. The weather was perfect for the snowman but not for children. There was a cold wind and was falling thick snow. Snowman was bored on the playground, because the children could not visit him.
The next day when kids came into the playground to play with him they found in this place just a big puddle with carbides, the carrot and the pot. "Do not worry poor snowman. As soon as the snow falls again we will rebuild you and you will adorned our area in front of the kindergarten during the whole cold winter!" Kids promised.
But soon it got warmer. The snowman was glad because of this. He hoped that children will be able to play with him now. Unfortunately, the stronger sun did not serve him. He slowly began to melt away. Water drops appeared on his belly and hands. He was getting slimmer and slimmer. Finally, he was so weak that he could not keep his broom.
