Read all instructions before beginning project. Do not pre-wash fabrics. Press fabrics with a dry iron on cotton setting before cutting. 1. Refer to Diagram A to sew one Solid Black large triangle 10 7/8 in (27.63 cm) RST to one Hold Your Horses Patch large triangle 10 7/8 in (27.63 cm) to make one Unit 1 square. Note: Check orientation of the designs. Trim unit to measure 10 ½ in x 10 ½ in (26.67 cm x 26.67 cm). Repeat to make a second Unit 1 square.
2. Refer to Diagram B to sew one Hold Your Horses Patch large triangle 10 7/8 in (27.63 cm) RST to one Solid Black large triangle 10 7/8 in (27.63 cm) to make one Unit 2 square. Note: Check orientation of the designs. Trim unit to measure 10 ½ in x 10 ½ in (26.67 cm x 26.67 cm). Repeat to make a second Unit 2 square.

5. Refer to Diagram E to sew one Unit 1 square to the left side of one Unit 3 square to make the top row. Sew one Unit 4 square to the left side of one Unit 2 square to make the bottom row. Refer to Diagram E to sew the two rows together lengthwise to make one Block One square which should measure 20 ½ in x 20 ½ in (52.07cm x 52.07cm). Note: Check orientation of the designs. Repeat to make a second Block One square.

Refer to Diagram F to sew together two Longhorn Bandana small triangles 7 ¼ in (18.42 cm), one Solid Black small triangle 7 ¼ in (18.42 cm) and one Camper Corral small triangle 7 ¼ in (18.42 cm) RST to make one Unit 5 square. Note: Check orientation of the designs. Trim unit to measure 6 ½ in x 6 ½ in (16.51 cm x 16.51 cm). Repeat to make a second Unit 5 square.

Refer to Diagram G to sew together one Solid Black small triangle 7 ¼ in (18.42 cm), two Longhorn Bandana small triangles 7 ¼ in (18.42 cm) and one Camper Corral small triangle 7 ¼ in (18.42 cm) RST to make one Unit 6 square. Note: Check orientation of the designs. Trim unit to measure 6 ½ in x 6 ½ in (16.51 cm x 16.51 cm). Repeat to make a second Unit 6 square.

Refer to Diagram H to sew together one Camper Corral small triangle 7 ¼ in (18.42 cm), two Longhorn Bandana small triangles 7 ¼ in (18.42 cm) and one Solid Black small triangle 7 ¼ in (18.42 cm) RST to make one Unit 7 square. Note: Check orientation of the designs. Trim unit to measure 6 ½ in x 6 ½ in (16.51 cm x 16.51 cm). Repeat to make a second Unit 7 square.
9. Refer to Diagram I to sew together two Longhorn Bandana small triangles 7 ¼ in (18.42 cm), one Camper Corral small triangle 7 ¼ in (18.42 cm) and one Solid Black small triangle 7 ¼ in (18.42 cm) RST to make one Unit 8 square. Note: Check orientation of the designs. Trim unit to measure 6 ½ in x 6 ½ in (16.51 cm x 16.51 cm). Repeat to make a second Unit 8 square.
10. Place two Solid Black squares 6 ½ in x 6½ in (16.51 cm x 16.51 cm) and one Unit 1 square as shown in Diagram J. Pin RST, sew and press to make the top row. Place one Unit 2 square, one Lonestar Allover square 6 ½ in x 6 ½ in (16.51 cm x 16.51 cm) and one Unit 3 square as shown in Diagram J. Pin RST, sew and press to make the middle row. Place two Solid Black square 6 ½ in x 6 ½ in (16.51 cm x 16.51 cm)and one Unit 4 square as shown in Diagram J. Pin RST, sew and press the make the bottom row. Refer to Diagram J to sew the three rows lengthwise to make one Unit 9 square which should measure 18 ½ in x 18 ½ in (46.99 cm x 46.99 cm). Note: Check orientation of the designs. Repeat to make a second Unit 9 square.
11. Refer to Diagram K to sew one Solid Tan strip 1 ½ in x 18 ½ in (3.81 cm x 46.99 cm) RST to each side of one Unit 9 square. Sew one Solid Tan strip 1 ½ in x 20 ½ in (3.81 cm x 52.07 cm) RST to the top and bottom of the Unit 9 square to make one Block Two square which should measure 20 ½ in x 20 ½ in (52.07 cm x 52.07 cm). Repeat to make a second Block Two square.
12. Place four Solid Black strips 1 ½ in x 4 ½ in (3.81 cm x 11.43 cm), two Camper Corral square 4 ½ in x 4 ½ in and two Barnstar Quilt squares 4 ½ in x 4 ½ in (11.43 cm x 11.43 cm) as shown in Diagram L. Pin RST, sew and press to make one Unit 10 which should measure 4 ½ in x 20 ½ in (11.43 cm x 52.07 cm). Note: Check orientation of the designs.
13. Refer to Diagram M to sew one Solid Black strip 1 ½ in x 20 ½ in (3.81 cm x 52.07 cm) RST to each side of one Unit 10 strip to make one Block Three which should measure 6 ½ in x 20 ½ in (16.51 cm x 52.07 cm).
14. Place two Barnstar Quilt squares 4 ½ in x 4 ½ in (11.43 cm x 11.43 cm), four Solid Black strips 1 ½ in x 4 ½ in (3.81 cm x 11.43 cm) and two Camper Corral squares 4 ½ in x 4 ½ in (11.43 cm x 11.43 cm) as shown in Diagram N. Pin RST, sew and press to make one Unit 11 which should measure 4 ½ in x 20 ½ in (11.43 cm x 52.07 cm). Note: Check orientation of the designs.
15. Refer to Diagram O to sew one Solid Black strip 1 ½ in x 20 ½ in (3.81 cm x 52.07 cm) RST to each side of one Unit 11 strip to make one Block Four which should measure 6 ½ in x 20 ½ in (16.51 cm x 52.07 cm).
16. Place five Solid Black strips 1 ½ in x 4 ½ in (3.81 cm x 11.43 cm), two Camper Corral squares 4 ½ in x 4 ½ in (11.43 cm x 11.43 cm) and two Barnstar Quilt squares 4 ½ in x 4 ½ in (11.43 cm x 11.43 cm) as shown in Diagram P. Pin RST, sew and press to make one Unit 12 which should measure 4 ½ in x 21 ½ in (11.43 cm x 54.61cm). Note: Check orientation of the designs.
17. Refer to Diagram Q to sew one Solid Black strip 1 ½ in x 21 ½ in (3.81 cm x 54.61 cm) RST to the top and bottom of one Unit 12 strip to make one Block Five which should measure 6 ½ in x 21 ½ in (16.51 cm x 54.61cm).
18. Refer to Diagram R to sew one Solid Black strip 1 ½ in x 4 ½ in (3.81 cm x 11.43 cm) RST to the top and bottom of one Camper Corral square 4 ½ in x 4 ½ in (11.43 cm x 11.43 cm) to make one Unit 13 which should measure 4 ½ in x 6 ½ in (11.43 cm x 16.51 cm). Note: Check orientation of the designs.
19. Place five Solid Black strips 1 ½ in x 4 ½ in (3.81 cm x 11.43 cm), two Barnstar Quilt squares 4 ½ in x 4 ½ in (11.43 cm x 11.43 cm) and two Camper Corral squares 4 ½ in x 4 ½ in (11.43 cm x 11.43 cm) as shown in Diagram S. Pin RST, sew and press to make one Unit 14 which should measure 4 ½ in x 21 ½ in (11.43 cm x 54.61 cm). Note: Check orientation of the designs.
20. Refer to Diagram T to sew one Solid Black strip 1 ½ in x 21 ½ in (3.81 cm x 54.61 cm) RST to the top and bottom of one Unit 14 strip to make one Block Six which should measure 6 ½ in x 21 ½ in (16.51 cm x 54.61 cm).
21. Place one Block One square, one Block Three strip and one Block Two square as shown in Diagram U. Pin RST, sew and press to make the top row. Place one Block Five strip, one Unit 13 strip and one Block Six strip as shown in Diagram U. Pin RST, sew and press to make the middle row. Place one Block Two square, one Block Four strip and one Block One square as shown in Diagram U. Pin RST, sew and press to make the bottom row. Refer to Diagram U to sew the three rows lengthwise RST to make the Quilt Center. The Quilt Center should measure 46 ½ in x 46 ½ in (118.11 cm x 118.11 cm). Note: Check orientation of the designs.
22. Place ten Solid Black strips 1 ½ in x 4 ½ in (3.81 cm x 11.43 cm), five Barnstar Quilt squares 4 ½ in x 4 ½ in (11.43 cm x 11.43 cm) and four Camper Corral squares 4 ½ in x 4 ½ in (11.43 cm x 11.43 cm) as shown in Diagram V. Pin RST, sew and press to make one Unit 15 which should measure 46 ½ in x 4 ½ in (118.11 cm x 11.43 cm). Note: Check orientation of the designs. Repeat to make a
second Unit 15 strip.
23. Sew five Solid Black strips 1 ½ in x 42 in (3.81 cm x 106.68 cm) end to end RST with diagonal seams; trim seam allowance to ¼ in (6.35 mm). From the sewn strip, cut four Solid Black strips 1 ½ in x 46 ½ in (3.81 cm x 118.11 cm). Refer to Diagram W to sew one Solid Black strip 1 ½ in x 46 ½ in (3.81 cm x 118.11 cm) RST to the top and bottom of one Unit 15 strip to make one Block Seven which
should measure 46 ½ in x 6 ½ in (118.11 cm x 16.51 cm). Repeat to make a second Block Seven strip.
24. Refer to Diagram X to sew one Block Seven strip RST to the top and bottom of the Quilt Center.
25. Sew three Lonestar Allover strips 2 in x 42 in (5.08 cm x 106.68 cm) end to end RST with diagonal seams; trim seam allowance to ¼ in (6.35 mm). From the sewn strip, cut 2 Lonestar Allover strips 2 in x 58 ½ in (5.08 cm x 148.59 cm). Refer to Diagram X to sew one Lonestar Allover strip 2 in x 58 ½ in (5.08 cm x 148.59 cm) to each side of the Quilt Center. Sew three Lonestar Allover strips 2 in x 42 in (5.08 cm x 106.68 cm) end to end RST with diagonal seams; trim seam allowance to ¼ in (6.35 mm). From the sewn strip, cut 2 Lonestar Allover strips 2 in x 49 ½ in (5.08 cm x 125.73 cm). Refer to Diagram X to sew one Lonestar Allover strip 2 in x 49 ½ in (5.08 cm x 125.73 cm) to the top and bottom of the Quilt Center.
26. Sew four Giddy Up Stripe strips 4 ½ in x 42 in (11.43 cm x 106.68 cm) with diagonal seams; trim seam allowance to ¼ in (6.35 mm). From the sewn strip, cut 2 Giddy Up Stripe strips 4 ½ in x 61 ½ in (11.43 cm x 156.21 cm). Sew four Giddy Up Stripe strips 4 ½ in x 42 in (11.43 cm x 106.68 cm) with diagonal seams; trim seam allowance to ¼ in (6.35 mm). From the sewn strip, cut 2 Giddy Up Stripe strips 4 ½ in x 57 ½ in (11.43 cm x 146.05 cm) . Refer to Diagram X to sew four Giddy Up Stripe strips 4 ½ in x 61 ½ in (11.43 cm x 156.21 cm) RST to each side of the Quilt Center. Sew one Giddy Up Stripe strip 4 ½ in x 57 ½ in (11.43 cm x 146.05 cm) RST to the top and bottom of the Quilt Center to make the Quilt Top. The completed Quilt Top should measure 57 ½ in x 69 ½ in (146.05 cm x 176.53 cm).

27. To make the Lonestar Allover Backing, remove the selvages and cut two pieces 65 in x 42 in (165.1 cm x 106.68 cm). Note: Check the orientation of the design. Pin and sew the pieces RST along the long edges as shown in Diagram Y. Trim the Back to measure 65 in x 77 in (165.1 cm x 195.58 cm).
28. Press the finished Quilt Top and Backing fabric. Tape the Backing wrong side up on a firm surface. Layer Batting and Quilt Top (right side up). Baste the layers together with safety pins. Quilt as desired.
29. Once the quilting is complete, square up the corners and edges, trimming excess Backing and Batting even with the Quilt Top.
30. To make the Hold Your Horses Binding, remove the selvages and sew the short ends of the Solid Black strips 2 ½ in x 42 in (6.35 cm x 106.68 cm) strips RST end to end at a 45 degree angle to make one continuous strip; press seams open. Press one short end ¼ in (6.35 mm) to the wrong side. Fold in half lengthwise with wrong sides together; press. Leaving a 2 in (5.08 cm) tail on the folded end, place cut edges of folded Binding even with the edge of the Quilt and sew, mitering the corners (Dia. Z). Overlap ends, trim any excess and finish sewing the Binding. Fold the Binding over to the back and hand stitch.
Machine wash in cold water; gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Tip: Beforedrying,checkforfabricdyesthatmayhaverun. Iffabricdyes run,rewashandrinseusingacolorcatchertoabsorbloosedye. Lay flat to dry or tumble dry low.
