Piecing Instructions:

Note: Press seams as directed by arrows or instructions

1. Draw a diagonal line on the back side of eighty Fabric I 3 1/2" squares.

2. With right sides together, place a Fabric I 3 1/2" square on the left end of each Fabric C and D 3 1/2" x 6 1/2" rectangle, Fabric E and J 3 1/2" x 9 1/2" rectangle, and Fabric F and G 3 1/2" x 12 1/2" rectangles as shown. Sew together on the line, trim the seam allowance to 1/4", and press towards Fabric I

3. With right sides together, place a Fabric I 3 1/2" square on the right end of each Fabric E and J 3 1/2" x 6 1/2" rectangle, and Fabric F and G 3 1/2" x 9 1/2" rectangles as shown. Sew together on the line, trim the seam allowance to 1/4", and press towards Fabric I

6. Repeat the process in Step 5 to complete one BLUE block. Repeat to make eight blocks. Blocks should measure 12 1/2" x 12 1/2" unfinished.
