Cutting Instructions:

Please read all instructions carefully before beginning. Strips are cut across the width of fabric WOF (perpendicular to selvedges) unless otherwise stated. All seams are sewn with 1/4" seam unless otherwise stated. Label all pieces.

Fabric A:

• Cut (6) 6 1/2" x 6 1/2" rectangle, fussy cut around 2 Christmas tree motifs, one Merry Christmas motif, one Seasons greetings motif, and two blue ornament motifs *set the rest of the panel aside for the remaining projects

Fabric B:

• Cut (3) 3 1/2" x WOF strips; sew together end to end and cut (2) 3 1/2" x 48 1/2" rectangles

Fabric C:

• Cut (2) 2 5/8" x WOF strips; cut (32) 2 5/8" x 2 5/8" squares or fussy cut 2 5/8” squares as shown on cover page

Fabric D:

• Cut (5) 2 1/4" x WOF; sew together end to end and set aside for binding

Fabric E:

• Cut (3) 3 1/2" x WOF strips; sew together end to end and cut (2) 3 1/2" x 48 1/2" rectangles

• Cut (1) 2 1/2" x WOF strip; cut ( 5) 2 1/2" x 6 1/2" rectangles

• Cut (1) 1 1/2" x WOF strip; cut (2) 1 1/2" x 6 1/2" rectangles

Fabric F:

• Cut (4) 2 3/8" x WOF strips; cut (64) 2 3/8" x 2 3/8" squares sub cut on one diagonal into (128) triangles

• Cut (4) 1 1/2" x WOF strips; sew together end to end and cut (2) 1 1/2" x 26 1/2" rectangles and (2) 1 1/2" x 48 1/2" rectangles

Piecing Instructions:

The arrows in figures represent the fabric seam pressing direction. Pay attention to the fabric and unit orientations while assembling the various components.

1. Sew a pair of Fabric F 2 3/8" triangles to opposite sides of a Fabric C 2 5/8" square. Press, then sew a second pair of triangles to the remaining sides to make and A Unit. Press. Trim and square to 3 1/2" x 3 1/2". Make (32).

2. Sew (16) A Units together into a row, pressing seams open. Make (2) rows.

3. Sew the Fabric A squares together with a Fabric E 2 1/2" x 6 1/2" rectangles between them and the 1 1/2" x 6 1/2" on either end to make the center row. Make sure the motifs are all oriented right side up.

4. Sew the rows and strips together as shown in the layout diagram to make the table runner.

5. Sew the Fabric F 1 1/2” x 48 1/2” rectangles to the top and bottom of the runner . Press. Sew the Fabric F 1 1/2” x 26 1/2” to each of the short side of the runner. Press.

Finishing:

1. Prepare backing using two widths with a vertical seam. Press seams open. Trim backing to 58 1/2" x 34 1/2".

2. Layer quilt, batting, and backing. Baste layers together.

3. Quilt as desired.

4. Trim layers even with quilt top, squaring corners.

5. Attach binding using your favorite method.
