JUST DOTTY QUILT PROJECT

This project uses 8 different fabrics

See chart below for fabric quantities 1 yd background fabric ½ yd binding 4 yards backing

Note: All possible care has been taken to assure the accuracy of this pattern. We are not responsible for printing errors or the manner in which individual work varies. Please read instructions carefully before starting the construction of this quilt. If desired, wash and iron your fabrics before starting to cut.

QUILT FACE MATERIALS

Cutting dimensions include ¼ " seam allowances.

WOF = Width of fabric selvedge to selvedge. Press seams as you go.

½ yard each of 8 different printed fabrics (see chart below) 6- 8½" squares from each ½ yd (48 total)

From background fabric:

Cut 12- 2 ½” x WOF strips

Subcut into 192- 2 ½” squares

Use a solid fabric that is the same color on both sides and has no pattern

BLOCK ASSEMBLY

1. Draw a diagonal line on the back side of all 2½" squares ( g 1)

2. Place a marked 2½" square on opposite corners of each 8½" square right sides together and sew along diagonal lines ( g 2)

3. Trim excess layers ¼" from seam ( g 3)

4. Press open

QUILT ASSEMBLY

5. Layout blocks in rows following the quilt diagram for placement (or however you like)

6. Sew blocks in rows pressing each row in opposite directions

7. Sew 8 rows to complete the quilt top

8. Layer the backing, batting and quilt top

9. Baste, quilt and bind
