With each season we find renewed inspiration by surrounding ourselves with the textures and colors we love. This Fall we have five new designer collections, each with a unique approach to creating artwork.

Turn the pages to explore garden blooms in a full range of scale and color, whimsical bowls of fruit ripe for picnic enthusiasts, radiating color-saturated and sun-drenched geos, charming ditsy florals sweet enough for the bees, and a forest of hand-printed creatures to explore.

WORKSHOP

Workshop by Maywood Studio was created from our desire to collaborate as a team and work with our hands. These collections are designed to bring you unique textiles that emerge from our exploration of different art and craft techniques. From hand-cutting paper snowflakes and printing with cyanotype, to learning printmaking techniques, our mission is to create beautiful textiles and introduce ideas that inspire others to try their hand at a new craft.

CHRISTINA CAMELI

Christina Cameli is an enthusiastic fabric and pattern designer, author, and teacher. After being introduced to quilting by her grandmother, she learned free-motion quilting and over the next decade began teaching classes and writing books, including First Steps to Free-Motion Quilting and her most recent book, Step by Step Texture Quilting. Christina brings her joyful quilting style to both her in-person and online classes. She lives with her family in Portland, Oregon.

KIM CHRISTOPHERSON

Kim Christopherson is the owner and creative force behind Kimberbell®, an industry leader in quilting, sewing, machine embroidery designs, tools, and fabrics. With her passion and vision, Kim actively promotes the independent quilt shop owner through innovative products and programs found in shops worldwide. Well known for her on-trend designs and detailed step-by-step instructions, Kim invites others to experience the joy of creativityTM (as she does!) through sewing, quilting, and embroidery.

KRIS LAMMERS

Many were introduced to Kris Lammers’ special brand of illustration though her work with the Gooseberry Patch cookbook series. A life-long artist with a passion for drawing, Kris’ artwork is a unique blend of sweet imagery and often a touch of humor. When she’s not drawing or painting, Kris gathers inspiration wherever she can, often while treasure hunting in junk stores for her other creative outlets. She also adores spending time with her five grandchildren.

MARTI MICHELL

It is no wonder that Marti Michell, the 2020 Honoree of the Quilters Hall of Fame, is often introduced as a pioneer in the current quilt revival. She brings her love of quilt making to every fabric and pattern she designs. From starting Yours Truly, a patchwork kit company with her husband Richard in 1972 to manufacturing From Marti Michell, her line of acrylic templates and specialty rulers, Marti continues to be a respected entrepreneur and innovator in the quilting industry today.
