Embroidery Stabilizers
Use OESD WashAway any time there is a need for the stabilizer to be completely removed from the embroidered item. WashAway can be used for cutwork, freestanding lace and reverse appliqué. WashAway topping keeps stitches from sinking into the fabric and prevents any loops of the fabric from showing through the embroidery.
AquaMesh p/u 1|Opaque
TearAway is suitable for stable fabrics without stretch.
Use OESD TearAway stabilizers on tightly woven fabrics such as quilt fabrics, poly/cotton fabrics, canvas and duck cloth. TearAway can also be used on vinyl and leather.
Use OESD’s CutAway stabilizers with fabric that stretch including knit, loosely woven fabrics, and denim. CutAway stabilizer will hold more stitches than TearAway. Use CutAway for stitching dense designs on woven fabrics. As the name suggests, after embroidering the excess is easily cut away.
This water-soluble stabilizer is essential for creating projects where no trace of stabilizer can be left behind. AquaMesh rinses out in warm, running water. Not sensitive to humidity.
