Dr. Lytras is Research Professor at Deree College – The American College of Greece. Invited Speaker 3 Dr. Abdulrahman Shiekh, CEO, Education E-Solutions, Commercial Lead, Big Innovation Center Dr. Abdul Rehman is currently working with Education e-Solutions company in the immersive technologies such as Artificial Intelligence(AI), Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Internet of Things (IoT) and Blockchain with a focus on Education and Training. Abdul Rehman is an advisor and a technical architect for Big Innovation Centre where he works to enhance business and lead in technical collaborations. He worked earlier as Head of Professional Services and Principal Consultant with Edutech and have 20+ years of total experience and playing a strategic role leading the Learning Solutions - Professional Services for the Academic segment managing various teams from Pre-Sales, Project Implementation, and Support. He brings more almost two decades of rich experience working in an academic setting especially with Higher Education since 1999 in the Middle-East.
Discussion Panel and Awards Moderator: Dr. Hayssam Dahrouj, College of Engineering, Effat University Dr. Hayssam Dahrouj received his B.E. degree (with high distinction) in computer and communications engineering from the American University of Beirut (AUB), Lebanon, in 2005, and his Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Toronto (UofT), Canada, in 2010. In May 2015, he joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Effat University as an assistant professor, and also became a visiting scholar at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Between April 2014 and May 2015, he was with the Computer, Electrical and Mathematical Sciences and Engineering group at KAUST as a research associate. Prior to joining KAUST, he was an industrial postdoctoral fellow at UofT, in collaboration with BLiNQ Networks Inc., Kanata, Canada, where he worked on developing practical solutions for the design of non-line-of sight wireless backhaul networks. His contributions to the field led to five patents. Dr. Dahrouj is the recipient of both the faculty award of excellence in research and the faculty award of excellence in teaching at Effat University, May 2017. He is a senior member of the IEEE. His main research interests include cloud radio access networks, backhaul systems, cross-layer optimization, machine learning, cooperative networks, convex optimization, distributed algorithms, and free-space-optical communications. 7

Degrees in Instructional Technology and Media from the Teachers College of University of Columbia, New York, USA. She is an expert in Educational Technology, she currently works as an Educational Technology Consultant for Riyadh International Consulting, Riyadh – 2019. She worked earlier for the International public school, New York 2008 – 2010 Also for Bronx public school, New York - January - March 2005.
Invited Speaker 5 Dr. El-Hadi Aggoun, Professor and Director of the Sensor Networks and Cellular Systems (SNCS) Research Center, University of Tabuk, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia El-Hadi M. Aggoune received his MS and Ph.D. Degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington (UW), Seattle, Washington, USA. He is a Professional Engineer and IEEE Senior Member. He served at a number of universities in the US and abroad. The highest academic ranks he achieved included Endowed Chair Professor and Vice President and Provost. He managed an unmanned aerial vehicle research and development lab that won the Boeing Supplier Excellence Award. He was a winner of the IEEE Professor of the Year Award, UW Branch. He is listed as Inventor in a major patent assigned to the Boeing Company. His research work is referred to in many patents including patents assigned to ABB, Switzerland and EPRI, USA. Currently he is a Professor and Director of the Sensor Networks and Cellular Systems (SNCS) Research Center, University of Tabuk, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. He authored papers in IEEE and other journals and conferences. He is serving on many technical committees. His research interests include simulation and visualization, sensor networks and wireless communication, power system operation and control, and neurocomputing and applications.

Invited Speaker 6 Dr. Mazhar Bari, Senior Vice President Technology and Innovation at Siemens Saudi Arabia and Head of the MindSphere Application Centre (MAC) Dr. Mazhar Bari is Senior Vice President Technology and Innovation at Siemens Saudi Arabia and Head of the MindSphere Application Centre (MAC) where he is also the subject matter expert on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Digitalization and responsible for University relations. Prior to joining Siemens in 2018, Dr. Bari led a team on renewable energy projects, technology localization and commercialization initiatives at King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE). He has held numerous leadership positions, including that of Founder of Science Technology Research Partners (STREP) Limited in Ireland, where he developed several clean technologies and spun-out two companies. Dr. Bari founded SolarPrint Limited, where he served as CTO and CEO, and developed state-of-the-art dye sensitized solar cell (DSSC) technology for artificial light harvesting for powering wireless devices for IoT applications. Dr. Bari earned his MPhil and PhD degrees from the University of Cambridge (UK) and holds an International Executive MBA degree from the University College Dublin. He is a visiting Professor at the School of Physics at University College Dublin in Ireland. Dr. Bari is the author of 10 patents, including the next generation of high temperature bulk thermoelectric nanomaterials called skutterudites which use waste heat to generate electricity for automotive and deep space applications.
Dr. Adel Ilahi Dr. Adel Ilahi graduated from University of Maryland at College Park and The George Washington University. His research interests were in Distributed system. He worked in the industry for twenty years. His work spanned from Enterprise Architecture to Security and Privacy. He has recently joined academia and his research interests lie in Big Data and Network/Data Security.
