EFG Reuse The importance of the office interior has increased significantly as companies strive to enhance not only their image but also performance and well-being of co-workers and employees. Simultaneously a strengthened focus is on implementing sustainability and environmental procedures to practice. When moving to a new premises there is always surplus furniture left that is no longer suitable for the new interior. This poses large social and environmental challenges for businesses. EFG offers Reuse and Responsible Recycling of used office furniture in interior design projects. The service is an integrated part of EFG’s work, creating modern, sustainable and effective interior solutions for companies and public environments.

Profitable sustainability in practice 1. The first thing we do is create an inventory list of surplus products when the customers have decided on new purchases. 2. We evaluate what can be sold and re-used by others. Assessing any potential commercial value. 3. Then we choose relevant products for donation, often to non-profit organizations. 4. Finally we assess the potential of recyled materials left over. We will disassemble the remaining furniture and send it off for recycling on behalf of our customers. Calculation of project costs for management and handling, and potential revenue from sales. Handling and optimization of re-use and recycling. Compilation of results in a report on economy, reuse and recycling.
The Report When you choose to go with EFG’s Reuse and Recycling service you receive a report on completion, accounting for cost savings and end destinations for all surplus products and materials. The environmental savings are naturally represented in hard numbers, but additionally converted into how many bicycles can be produced from the recycled metals, and how many villas that can be heated from the combustible, recycled materials. Report content – highlights: • Project description • Economy – sales revenue, costs and savings • Content distribution – reuse, recycling incl. materials • Donations – recipients • Environment – recycled fractions and CO2-reduction The report serves as a basis for your own sustainability reporting and shows concrete and often significant results - both economically and environmentally.

EFG Collaborate is the brainchild of a joint venture between EFG and an Interior Designer. The inspirational design sprung from a customer requirement for a table that is multifunctional as a meeting and project table. With collaborative project work increasing in the workplace this is a great solution. It not only creates a place for group thought but is also interchangeable as part of a breakout or bar area. The robust design signals warmth and contributes to a motivating and inviting atmosphere. Meeting, lounge and project tables are available in two heights with solid wood legs. Available in a variety of sizes. Can also be built into large combinations to meet any requirement. Table tops can be integrated with electrical and data devices.
