The Russian Union of Chemists (RUC) and the European Fertilizer Manufacturers Association (EFMA) having met on 08.10.2009 in Moscow, Russia have agreed to extend their exchange of information and cooperation in the sphere of mineral fertilizers. They have decided to have bilateral meetings in principle once a year between RUC and EFMA especially to discuss safety, security and environmental issues linked to the production and application of fertilizers. Additional topics, like development of agriculture in Russia, EU or neighboring areas can also be discussed in these meetings. RCU and EFMA agree to exchange scientific, technical and economic publicly available information on issues of common interest. RCU and EFMA will not enter any cooperation, discussion or information exchange that is, or may be interpreted to be, in conflict with competition, trade or other laws in Russia, EU or any individual countries.
