Personal Name Style Branding (Typography)

Celia Fransisca Motion Designer

Centered around typography to create the name style of Celia Fransisca, initials are used as the representation of the name. Imagined as a motion designer, dynamic lines are involved in both the logo and the element of design to show the title, supported by the color transition; in which blue is used for its meaning of reliability and creativity.



Zinced Edge Font Modification

Modified from the original Rockwell typeface, Zinced Edge is created for the use of display. It is slippery in nature, yet harbours sharp and pointy edges; giving off a strongly smooth look.



Home Sweet Home CD Album Design

An album titled “Home Sweet Homeâ€? by Katherine Jenkins takes on the theme of the warmth and comfort from a home. The design itself is composed from manual illustrations that are done to give o a classic look with its style, formed from rough strokes and watercolor stylings that help to show the feeling of warmth. Lyrics are contained inside the album; that take place in a living room setting, in which is the room where warmth is commonly felt in homes.


The theme color in use is brown; as it’s mostly associated in homes for the warmth, comfort, and sense of family felt. Serif is also the choice applied as its form is able to show the classic genre of Katherine Jenkins.

Packaging Redesign

As the famous mascot of the brand, Captain Star is cleanly redesigned along with the name style and packaging to be the focal point other than the brand name. Together with the intriguing photography of the product and the galaxy impression, the design is done with the original content untouched; aiming to attract its consumers with its witted play on visual hierarchy.


NutriSari

Packaging Redesign

Having the image of freshness from its avor extracted from real fruits with nutrients, the name style of the brand is redesigned to express those out from its form as well as colors. With a witty play on the white space and visual hierarchy, along with the involvement of the sliced orange in photography, the packaging is redesigned to be appealing and intriguing for its buyers, as well as applicable for all variants alike with equally pleasing design plays as seen.



Philips

Packaging Redesign Though redesigned, the Philips name style still attains its simple look with its trademark blue. With a play on the white space movement and visual hierarchy, the packaging is designed to be simple, clean, and recognizable from the outside of what product is contained with details readable from the surface of the packaging.


Optik Zas Logo Redesign

Optik Zas, a small optical store located strategically right in front of BINUS Syahdan, friendly tends to its customers regarding their optical needs with an affordable price. Having a variation of high-quality products, Optik Zas aims to be trustworthy for its customers.

look, the same trait of service offered by Optik Zas. The geometric nature of the typeface along with the box of rectangle create the trustable sense, as aimed by the store. However, the impression of being approachable is also given off through the fun flat shadow effect on the logo itself.

BNEC Business Card Business Card Design

Previously still with its trademark light green back at the 22nd Presidency, the business card was designed with a doodle composition that roughly represents the products of BINUS English Club itself; harbouring a clean look on the back with suďŹƒcient icon and text usage.


NMR Brochure Brochure Design

As one of the media to inform and attract freshmen to join BNEC, the New Member Recruitment brochure was designed with its theme, “Evolve with BNEC” in mind. Utilizing the theme elements and BNEC’s 4 main colors, the brochure is appealingly designed with neat, informative layout.


The 2015 Social Event Event Branding


The Social Event is annually held by BNEC as its way of contributing to the society. In 2015, it was held with “The Stairs for the Little Dreamers” as its theme. It focused on helping economically low orphanages with their English education, donating facilities such as mini libraries and learning medias, as well as holding a competition and exhibition day for the orphans. With the concept in mind, the logo is designed featuring related icons (such as books of education, cash of donations, trophies of achievements, and stars of dreams) in a doodle composition shaped like stairs. The kid character on the logo might be dull due to the orphanage background, but the icons are made colorful, simbolizing the future that they’re climbing to. With a kiddish typeface in use, it shows that the event is friendly and meant for kids as the target. Other supporting medias are then designed in unity with the main design, such as complementary posters, educational modules, advertorial banners, name tags, shirts, certificates, and more.


The 2016 AEO Event Branding


The Asian English Olympics is an international event, an Asian-scaled English competition annually organized by BNEC. At its fifth year in 2016, it was held with “Radiate Your Light” as its theme. The 2016 AEO was directed to be the platform for Asian youths to unite and express their potential without any limitations. With the concept in mind, the design is made theming in galaxy as it is a good representation for infinity and radiance, where it’s vast with numbers of radiating objects. The bright infinite loop circling around the initials of AEO symbolizes diversity and unity with a spectrum of colors radiating (expressed) from a band of white. In unity with the logo, competition field icons are also subjected to accommodate each category. Other supporting medias are then designed in unity with the main design, such as complementary posters, proposals, participant guide books, advertorial banners, name tags, shirts, certificates, merchandises, and more.


Invasion Jakarta Website Redesign


Retaining the original logo of Invasion Jakarta, the website is redesigned to be more syntactic, emphasizing on the color gradient as the identity of Invasion Jakarta itself as an electric dance festival. It has a clean look, yet still fostering the hype of the event itself. With its old website being information overload in an unorganized way, the redesign aims to make it clear for its viewers with information reachable in a few clicks, yet still able to look good in the eye.


Plants Magazine Editorial Design

Taking on the subject surrounding bamboo, the editorial design is made involving typography and composition play, icons, as well as high-resolution images. Often associated with serenity, the whole design is made minimalistic, clean, yet appealing to accommodate with the subject.



Showcase Magazine Editorial Design

As one of the informative medias published by an English student organization, Showcase is a student magazine featuring articles, news, proďŹ les, as well as other kinds of information with designs accommodated to each trimonthly theme.


Baseline Newsletter Editorial Design

A collaborative project with a friend, Titien Meinawati. With typography as the main focus of design along with playful yet supportive moves on imagery and shapes, this is designed to be more experimental than usual while still paying attention to the visual hierarchy.

Move Up! Motion Graphics

As one of "Move Up! Escalate Your Career" Video Competition’s entries, the motion graphic video promotes the values of working at Astra Credit Companies (ACC). Made to be informative for viewers to be able to know about the company as well as its working opportunity more, with corresponding color pallette and icon usages as well, the information contained becomes more visually alive and appealing; garnering the CHAMPION title of the whole competition held by Astra Credit Companies, Astra1st BINUS. Creative Video Résumé Motion Graphics

As part of a project in making a personal creative video résumé, the motion graphic video is a form of selfpromotion with its own sense of visualization. Illustrations are made manually then digitally for support, as well as the play of icons and typography follow to contribute; leading its viewers mindfully through the entire flow of the video with smooth transitions in-between every scene. California Character Design


A character design done purely as a form of self-visualization; manually through sketch before applying it digitally with Adobe Photoshop, starting from the lineart then colored along with the rendering. The character is then implemented for wallpapers, both iPhone and macOS, as well as an iPhone case with more merch options to come.
