DEPLOYED CAR CARE PROGRAM
OUR FIRST CUSTOMER recently returned from deployment and had this to say about her experience with the Deployed Car Care Program:
Gene [the manager] took really good care of my car while I was gone. He contacted my coworkers when something was wrong with the battery, then researched how to replace a Mini Cooper battery and fixed it! It was a stress-free process for me.

When I came back, Gene told me about a few other issues he'd found but couldn't address. So now I can take the car to a dealership to have them looked at.

The Deployed Car Care Program offers military members the advantage of these services during their deployment:
• Locked & Secure Storage Spaces (30 available)
• Pre-Inspection to Identify Any Vehicle Issues with estimates provided for repairs, which can be completed during deployment
• Weekly Walk-Around of the vehicle
• Weekly Engine Start to reach operating temperature
• More Thorough Weekly Inspections
including battery, tire, A/C and system checks
• Bi-Weekly Drive of the Vehicle in the Auto Hobby parking area
• Final Inspection before pick-up
• And lastly — A Car Wash!

Expectant Dad's 101 Monday, May 18 | 8 am-3 pm Attention, all fathers-to-be! Eglin's Airman & Family Readiness Center invites you to attend their "Expectant Dad's 101" class. This new parent support program is where new and soon-to-be dads can learn how to be an integral part of the pregnancy and childbirth, with topics including infant bonding, fetal development, preparing for baby, labor and delivery, swaddling techniques, coping with crying, child proofing, and other baby care processes. Aero Club Open House Monday, May 25 | 9 am-3:30 pm Flights by Reservation Only Enjoy a spectacular bird's-eye view of the Emerald Coast on a scenic flight with the Eglin Aero Club! To celebrate Memorial Day, the Aero Club is holding an Open House and offering 20-minute plane rides for only $30 per person. Flights in a Cessna aircraft depart every 30 minutes beginning at 9 a.m., carrying up to 3 passengers each. Bring your family and friends and learn about the flight training and pilot services offered at the Eglin Aero Club. Available flight times are limited and must be reserved; sign-up opens Friday, May 1. Cancellations must be made 24-hours prior to the event date.
