Movie Nights at Postl Point Aug. 28-29 | 7 pm Enjoy outdoor movies at Postl Point on Friday and Saturday night. Parking will accommodate up to 40 vehicles per show. Registration is open this week, Thursday through Saturday, by contacting Outdoor Rec at 850-882-5058 during regular hours of operation. Outdoor Rec is open Monday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., open Friday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Dog Obedience Classes Sept. 1-29 | 5 – 6 pm Can't get Rover to roll over? Basic Dog Obedience is just what your pup needs! Classes are specialized for pups over four months of age, or adult dogs who have had no previous training. Your canine companion will learn basic obedience commands and good doggy manners, and individual behavioral problems such as excessive barking and jumping will be addressed. Course sessions last five weeks, with classes held for a maximum of 10 dogs. The first class meeting will be for owners only (no dogs should attend, please!). Cost for each five-week course is $75 and includes everything needed to participate. Dogs must be current
on all vaccinations, including kennel cough; owners are asked to bring their dog's shot record to the first class. Register and pick up additional class information at Eglin Outdoor Recreation.

One-Day Get Golf Ready!
September 12 | 9 am - 2:30 pm
Develop your golf skills in less than a day! The Eglin Golf Course presents "Get Golf Ready!"—a Saturday golf lesson for beginners or those who need a refresher. "Get Golf Ready!" is a nationwide initiative by the USGA, PGA, PGA Tour and LPGA to engage golfers, and the lessons are taught by Eglin's LPGA Professional. Each lesson can accommodate three to six participants, and the cost is $70 per person with lunch included. For more information or to register, contact the Eglin Golf Course at 850-882-2949.
Family Fun Golf
Sundays | Family discounts begin at 2 pm
It's family fun on the Falcon Course every Sunday afternoon starting at 2 p.m.! An adult accompanied by a child age 8 to 17 pays HALF-PRICE green fees, and the accompanying child plays for FREE. Golf cart and equipment rentals are available at regular price. The Pro Shop has balls, tees, sunscreen, hats, and everything needed to enjoy your afternoon together. Children must be 8 years or older to go on the Golf Course. A maximum of 2 persons per golf cart and 2 golf carts per group is allowed.
