Mike Super's "2.OH! Magic & Illusion Show" is coming to the Eglin Enlisted Hall. Super, winner of NBC's Phenomenon and finalist on America's Got Talent, is known for his astounding and scientifically advanced magic. Come to be amazed! This event is presented by the Air Force Services Center and admission is FREE, no reserved seating. The show is family friendly, popcorn is FREE, and beverages will be available for purchase. September Golf Tournament

Saturday, September 28 | 9 am Shotgun Start | Eagle Course The Eglin Golf Course's monthly tournament for September is a two-person best ball format with 50% of your team's total handicap. Compete across 18 holes of par 3's, everyone playing the same tees. Entry for AGF members is $20 for Gold, $30 for Silver, or $40 for non-members. Sailing Experience Saturday, September 14 | 11 am *This is a RecOn event open to all Active Duty and Reserve personnel and family members.

Eglin Outdoor Recreation is bringing you a new opportunity to enjoy the Gulf Coast, inviting you aboard for a Sailing Experience. Gain a hands-on knowledge of basic sailing terminology, boat handling skills, and boating safety. This course is designed for beginners with little or no sailing experience. Cost is $25, and includes safety orientation followed by an instructional sail. Minimum age to participate is 14 years old. Life jackets are required and will be provided by Eglin Outdoor Rec. Monday, September 16 | 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm If you love reading, and discussing your favorite books with other readers, join the Eglin Library for their Dinner and a Book Club. Dessert and coffee will be served, so bring your favorite book for our first discussion and we'll choose the books for the remainder of the year. REGISTRATION REQUIRED Friday, September 20 | 6 pm - Autumn Theme (click here for paintings!) Find your inner artist! Come and join us at Legends Sports Grill for a Sip & Paint Night, hosted by Splash Paint Party Studio. Price is $15 for Eglin Club members, $30 for non-members, and includes a personal cheese plate to snack on, a canvas, and all other painting supplies. Painters will also receive one drink of their choice — including a glass of wine, a pint of beer, or a non-alcoholic beverage. The bar will be open for purchases. Must be 16 and up to participate. REGISTRATION REQUIRED BY FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 20 October 3 - November 7 | 5 pm - 6:30 pm A FREE basic sign language course will be offered to the Eglin community including family members ages 5 and older. The 6-week course is scheduled to meet every Thursday Oct. 3 through Nov. 7 from 5-6:30 p.m. at Luke's Place. Dinner will be provided for the first class on Oct. 3. • Mid-Night Meal at “The Lift”

Sunday - Thursday nights, September 29 - October 31 | 11 pm - 12:30 am The 96th Force Support Squadrons’ Food Services, in keeping with its “Grand Slam” support, will be testing the possibility of offering a mid-night meal at The Lift. The Lift, previously known as the Tradewinds Flight Kitchen is located in the Base Operations Building. The test period will run from Sep. 29 - Oct. 31, Sunday – Thursday nights from 11 p.m. - 12:30 a.m. During this period, we ask for your feedback as to whether this meal meets the needs of our swing/midnight shift workers and what improvements would make it better. Lap Swim Only: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 6 am - 11 am The Eglin Pool is open for use by all base personnel & their families. All non-instructed swimming at the Eglin Pool is FREE! Young swimmers ages 11 and up must pass a swim test before using the pool unattended. Please see a lifeguard during open swim. Only USCG approved flotation devices are allowed in the pool. Inflatables or foam noodles are not allowed. No flotation devices are allowed in the deep end.

September is Library Card Sign-up Month, a time when the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries nationwide join together to remind parents, caregivers and students that signing up for a library card is the first step towards academic achievement and lifelong learning. Visit Eglin's Library during September and register for a library card and receive a prize (one per family while supplies last). Disc Golf Tournament Saturday, October 12

7:30 am - Showtime 8:15 am - Players Meeting All ages and skill levels are invited to compete in Eglin Outdoor Recreation's Singles Disc Golf Tournament, taking place on the disc golf course at Postl Point. Six available divisions include: Recreation, Advanced, Intermediate, Novice, Women, and Juniors (14 and under). Two rounds will be played with a break for lunch in between. Super prizes will be awarded by Dynamic Discs to top finishers in each division. Registration is $30 per person and includes a Player Pack from Dynamic Discs containing a Dry Fit T-Shirt, Silicone Pint Glass, and a $10 voucher for any Dynamic Disc gear on site. FREE lunch and beverages will be provided by Outdoor Rec. Players must provide their own discs or purchase them at the event. Check-in on Saturday begins at 7:30 a.m. with a players meeting at 8:15 a.m. Participants are encouraged to bring bottled water, insect repellent, good athletic shoes... and their best game! Haunted Tour of St. Augustine

Overnight Trip: October 26 - 27 Join Eglin ITT on a historic tour of the most haunted places in St. Augustine, FL. It's a perfect overnight trip for the Halloween season!
