Customer Appreciation Day Friday, September 17 | 10 am - 1:30 pm
Eglin's Breeze Dining Facility and Main Fitness Center will be hosting a Customer Appreciation Day to celebrate the continued support of their patrons! The Breeze will host the joint outdoor event from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Sep. 17. Fitness activities include 1-minute pull-up, push-up and squat challenges, cornhole and football toss. Prizes including streaming devices, Bluetooth speakers, wireless earbuds and gift cards will be awarded. Cookout features a BBQ themed menu and the opportunity to win a pair of AirPods with the purchase of your meal! All with base access are invited to join and enjoy music, good food and friendly competition. 850-882-4229
Eglin Yacht Club & Dive Flight Open House Saturday, September 18 | 9 am - 2 pm
Enjoy a day of food, fun and furry friends at the Eglin Yacht Club & Dive Flight's Open House! Join the Yacht Club & Dive Flight to learn about membership and involvement. The open house will include a boat show, yacht tours, a nautical flea market and a tour of the clubhouse and dive flight building. Special guests of Eglin's Pet Welfare will be in attendance and available for adoption! Hot dogs with fixin's and drinks will be available for $5. The Yacht Club & Dive Flight is located in Bldg 2816 on the water at Ben's Lake on the north side of Choctawhatchee Bay. The approximate GPS coordinates for the outer-channel markers are 30o 27' 01.72" N 86o 32' 19.44" W. Showcase Your “SPOOKY-fied” Vehicle at FallFest!
Friday, October 29 | 5 - 7 pm
We're looking for fifty decorated vehicles to populate Trunk-Or-Treat Lane at this year's Trunk-or-Treat FallFest. If you would like to volunteer to "trim your trunk" and pass out treats to children, we would love to hear from you. Top 5 trunks will be selected to win prizes with one grand prize going to the "Best Trunk!" Candy supplies will be supplemented by 96 FSS, while supplies last. Trunks will need to be in place at Postl Point and ready to go by 4 p.m. Event volunteers are also needed. Be a part of Eglin's biggest program of the year! Movie Nights at Postl Point Fridays | 7 pm
Enjoy outdoor movies at Postl Point on Friday nights! Parking will accommodate up to 50 vehicles per show. Admission is FREE and open to all Eglin personnel and family members. Mini Stars Golf Program September 20 - October 11 | Mondays 4 - 4:45 pm September 24 - October 15 | Fridays 1:30 - 2:15 pm
Does your child want to be a golf star? Register them for the Mini Stars Golf Program with the Eglin Golf Course! This program consists of four-class sessions for kids ages 4 to 5 years old. Classes will have two to four kids, and it is recommended that parents/guardians stay for the duration of the classes. The cost is $80 per child and includes equipment and instruction from Denise Kafferly. Contact the Pro Shop to learn more and register. 850-882-2949
Fight Frenzy - UFC Fight Nights at Legends Saturday, September 25 | Doors Open at 6 pm
Catch all the action in the octagon with UFC Fight Nights at Legends Sports Grill! Fight Frenzy, a program from the Air Force Services Center (AFSVC), features coverage of UFC events every month. Legends will feature a special Late-Night Menu including flatbread pizzas, chicken tenders, boneless wings and more as well as full bar service! Doors open at 6 p.m. each night with preliminary fights starting at 7 p.m. on ESPN and pay-per-view fights starting at 9 p.m. All with base access are welcome to attend. Parking Lot Sale Saturday, October 2 | 8:30 am - 1 pm
Everyone with base access is invited to shop or sell at Eglin's basewide Parking Lot Sale, held on Georgia Avenue. Look for the event at the two large parking lots across the street from the Eglin Conference Center and Exchange Mini Mall. Sellers may park in either lot and use adjacent parking spaces to display their wares. Space for sellers is FREE! Advance reservations are not required. And if you're a shopper, you won't want to miss this event! There's always an enormous selection and assortment of treasures to be found at this popular event—furniture, electronics, children's items, toys, movies, books, clothing, collectibles, sporting goods, home accessories and much more! Sellers must be in place and ready to sell at 8:30 a.m. sharp, when the event is officially opened to shoppers. This is a perfect opportunity to raise some extra cash for your family, group or organization—or to get some thrifty gift shopping done! Restrooms will be available at the Mini Mall.
