Mike Super's "2.OH! Magic & Illusion Show" is coming to the Eglin Enlisted Hall. Super, winner of NBC's Phenomenon and finalist on America's Got Talent, is known for his astounding and scientifically advanced magic. Come to be amazed! This event is presented by the Air Force Services Center and admission is FREE, no reserved seating. The show is family friendly, popcorn is FREE, and beverages will be available for purchase. A FREE basic sign language course will be offered to the Eglin community including family members ages 5 and older. The 6-week course is scheduled to meet every Thursday Oct. 3 through Nov. 7 from 5-6:30 p.m. at Luke's Place. Dinner will be provided for the first class on Oct. 3. Sip & Paint Night at Legends
REGISTRATION REQUIRED - Friday, September 20 | 6 pm Find your inner artist! Come and join us at Legends Sports Grill for a Sip & Paint Night, hosted by Splash Paint Party Studio. Price is $15 for Eglin Club members, $30 for non-members, and includes a personal cheese plate to snack on, a canvas, and all other painting supplies. Painters will also receive one drink of their choice — including a glass of wine, a pint of beer, or a non-alcoholic beverage. The bar will be open for purchases. Must be 16 and up to participate. • SAPI & RecOn: Bouldering Overnight REGISTRATION REQUIRED Depart: Saturday, September 28 | 6 am Return: Sunday, September 29 | 4 pm (-ish)
Join Eglin Outdoor Recreation for an overnight trip to Horse Pens 40, a historic outdoor nature park offering bouldering, hiking, camping, picnicking, exploring, and much more. While there, test you're bouldering skills on some of the most popular rocks in the south. Participants will be provided the proper foot ware, all safety equipment, a knowledgeable guide, and all the necessary camping gear for an overnight stay. Cost is $50 per person, and includes transportation. Participants are encouraged to bring water, rain gear, a change of clothes, necessary toiletries, warm clothing, snacks, and anything personally needed for a 5-hour road trip. Sunday - Thursday Nights, September 29 - October 31 | 11 pm - 12:30 am The 96th Force Support Squadrons’ Food Services, in keeping with its “Grand Slam” support, will be testing the possibility of offering a mid-night meal at The Lift. The Lift, previously known as the Tradewinds Flight Kitchen is located in the Base Operations Building. The test period will run from Sep. 29 - Oct. 31, Sunday – Thursday nights from 11 p.m. - 12:30 a.m. During this period, we ask for your feedback as to whether this meal meets the needs of our swing/midnight shift workers and what improvements would make it better. Streetball Tournament
Explore the Florida National Scenic Trail with Eglin Outdoor Rec! Wander through spring-fed creeks and enjoy the plant and animal life along a beautiful 7-mile stretch of trail. Cost is $20 per person and includes round trip transportation to the trail (about 45 minutes away) and a hiking permit. Hikers are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes and breathable clothing and to bring bottled water, a sandwich and snacks, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Outdoor Rec also recommends wearing hats and long sleeves. Participation is open to all base personnel and their guests, ages 8 and up. Participants will meet at Eglin's Outdoor Recreation Center at Postl Point for departure. Showcase your streetball skills in a 3-on-3 Streetball Tournament presented by Eglin's Fitness Center. Trophies will be presented to the top three teams, with special prizes for first place and the team most fashionably dressed. The event will be held inside the gym at the Main Fitness Center (Bldg 810). Teams are asked to sign up at the Main Fitness Center prior to the day of the event.

The Eglin Airman & Family Readiness Center is offering QuickBooks Training to spouses of Eglin's active duty Air Force, provided FREE through a grant from the Air Force Aid Society. The 5-day session of classes includes the QuickBooks Software and book for each participant, a practice test, two opportunities to test for "QuickBooks National Certification," and personalized employment assistance.
