Eglin’s Parking Lot Sale! Saturday, October 5 | 8:30 am -1 pm
Everyone with base access is invited to shop or sell at Eglin's basewide Parking Lot Sale, held on Georgia Avenue. Look for the event at the two large parking lots across the street from the Eglin Conference Center and Exchange Mini Mall. Sellers may park in either lot and use adjacent parking spaces to display their wares. Space for sellers is FREE! Advance reservations are not required. There's always an enormous selection and assortment of treasures to be found at this popular event— furniture, electronics, children's items, toys, movies, books, clothing, collectibles, sporting goods, home accessories and much more! Sellers must be in place and ready to sell at 8:30 a.m. sharp, when the event will be officially opened to shoppers. This is a perfect opportunity to raise some extra cash for your family, group, or organization— or to get some thrifty gift shopping done! Restrooms will be available at the Mini Mall. MOVIE NIGHTS AT EGLIN OUTDOOR REC
Calling all Star Wars fans! Eglin Outdoor Recreation is premiering its new "Insane Impact" mega-screen at Postl Point, with Friday-night showings of all eight episodes of the Star Wars movie saga. It's the perfect way to prepare for the cinematic release of Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker! Showtime is 6 p.m. on the following dates:
Oct. 4 - Episode I: The Phantom Menace
Nov. 8 - Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
Oct. 11 - Episode II: Attack of the Clones
Nov. 15 - Episode VI: Return of the Jedi

Troy University is offering the military FREE tickets to the Troy vs. Arkansas State game played Sep. 28 at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Troy, Alabama. REGISTRATION REQUIRED Saturday, September 28 | 9 am Shotgun Start | Eagle Course The Eglin Golf Course's monthly tournament for September is a two-person best ball format with 50% of your team's total handicap. Compete across 18 holes of par 3's, everyone playing the same tees. Entry for AGF members is $20 for Gold, $30 for Silver, or $40 for non-members. Join Eglin Outdoor Recreation for an overnight trip to Horse Pens 40, a historic outdoor nature park offering bouldering, hiking, camping, picnicking, exploring, and much more. While there, test you're bouldering skills on some of the most popular rocks in the south. Participants will be provided the proper foot ware, all safety equipment, a knowledgeable guide, and all the necessary camping gear for an overnight stay. Cost is $50 per person, and includes transportation. Participants are encouraged to bring water, rain gear, a change of clothes, necessary toiletries, warm clothing, snacks, and anything personally needed for a 5-hour road trip. Mid-Night Meal TEST PERIOD: 11 pm - 1 am September 29 - October 31 The 96th Force Support Squadrons' Food Services, in keeping with its mission of "Grand Slam" support, will be testing the possibility of offering a mid-night meal at The Lift. Previously known as Tradewinds Flight Kitchen, The Lift is located in the Base Operations Building. A test period will run from Sep. 29 to Oct. 31, with meals offered Sunday-Thursday nights from 11 p.m.- 1 a.m. During this testing phase, we request your feedback as to whether this meal meets the needs of our swing/midnight shift workers, and what improvements could make it better. FSS looks forward to offering this service to our customers, and we hope to hear from you soon!
