The 96th Force Support Squadron invites the entire Eglin community to a spook-tacular evening of Halloween festivities at the annual Trunk-Or-Treat FallFest! Get your scare on and bring the whole family out to Postl Point for this kid-friendly event featuring a carnival atmosphere with lots of prizes, candy, and ghoulishly good fun. Trunk-Or-Treat Lane will open at 5 p.m., showcasing vehicles decorated in their Halloween best and filled with FREE candy for kids of all ages. Also check out the Zombie Blast, Carnival Games, Hayrides, and more. Food trucks will be on site for food and beverage purchases, and don't forget to stop by the EglinLife tent to pick up some treats and enter the drawing for a 3-day staycation and vintage toy giveaways. Showcase Your “SPOOKY-fied” Vehicle Friday, October 25 | 5-7 pm
We're looking for several dozen decorated vehicles to populate Trunk-Or-Treat Lane at this year's FallFest. If you would like to volunteer to "trim your trunk" and pass out treats to children, we would love to hear from you. "Best Trunk" prizes will be awarded! Calling all Star Wars fans! Eglin Outdoor Recreation is premiering its new "Insane Impact" mega-screen at Postl Point, with Friday-night showings of all eight episodes of the Star Wars movie saga. It's the perfect way to prepare for the cinematic release of Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker! Showtime is 6 p.m. on the following dates: Oct. 18 - Episode III: Revenge of the Sith Nov. 1 - Episode IV: A New Hope Nov. 8 - Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back Nov. 15 - Episode VI: Return of the Jedi Nov. 22 - Episode VII: The Force Awakens Dec. 6 - Episode VIII: The Last Jedi Admission is FREE and open to all base personnel, families, and guests. Moviegoers are welcome to bring snacks, coolers, blankets, and lawn chairs. Outdoor Rec's store will be open 5:45-7 p.m. for those who would like to purchase popcorn, drinks, and snacks on site. A $25 FSS gift card will be given away at each showing, and additional giveaways are planned for the series' conclusion, including a box set of all eight episodes! (Must be present to win.)
