Friday, November 1 | 3:30 pm - 6 pm All Eglin personnel and families are invited to First Friday at Legends Sports Grill. Fill up on a delicious "all-you-can-eat" menu of Roasted Pork Loin, Potatoes Au Gratin, Green Beans, Salad and Rolls, with Peach Cobbler for dessert. Thursday, October 31 | 9:30 am - 2:30 pm The Airman & Family Readiness Center would like to introduce all of Eglin's military spouses to Heart Link—a top-notch program designed to provide spouses with a better understanding of the military way of life, with concentration on the Eglin mission, military customs, traditions, protocol, and knowledge of available resources and services. A fun-filled Heart Link orientation will be held at Eglin's A&FRC (Bldg. 205 on Van Matre Avenue), and all spouses are invited to attend. FREE continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. *This is a RecOn event open to all Active Duty and Reserve personnel and family members. Eglin Outdoor Recreation invites you to Swim with the Manatees on an overnight trip to Crystal River, FL. Get up close and personal during an unforgettable encounter with these gentle giants on one of the most exciting interactive live nature tours in the state of Florida. All equipment is provided including a snorkel, mask, and wetsuit, plus camping gear for an overnight stay at Crystal Isles RV Resort. *This is a RecOn event open to all Active Duty and Reserve personnel and family members. Join Eglin Outdoor Rec for a bicycle tour down popular Scenic Highway 30A. Transportation will be provided from Postl Point to Big Daddy's Bike Shop in Santa Rosa Beach where a bike, helmet, basket and lock rental will be provided for the 4-mile ride down 30A to Seaside. Cost is $15 per person. Minimum age for participants is 12 years old. Riders are encouraged to bring water, sunglasses, bandanna or sweat band, snacks or cash for lunch along the way, and an extra shirt for the return ride. Contact Outdoor Rec to sign up.
