مصر للطٌران :تكثٌف الرحالت إلى شرم الشٌخ والغردقة فً إجازة العٌد زٌاد حسن بدأت شركة مصر للطٌران ،الجمعة ،تكثٌف رحالتها الجوٌة الداخلٌة إلى مناطق الجذب السٌاحى لقضاء إجازة عٌد األضحً المبارك ،خاصة إلى شرم الشٌخ والغردقة. وقال الطٌار شرٌف عزت رئٌس شركة مصر للطٌران للخطوط الجوٌة ،إن الشركة طرحت وحدها ماٌزٌد عن 10آالف مقعد على متن 68رحلة جوٌة إلى شرم الشٌخ والغردقة اعتبارا من الٌوم ،وحتى السبت 17سبتمبر ،منها 32رحلة منتظمة ،وإضافٌة إلى شرم الشٌخ و 36رحلة إلى الغردقة. وفً السٌاق ذاته ،صرح الطٌار حلمً رزق رئٌس شركة مصر للطٌران الخطوط الداخلٌة واإلقلٌمٌة «أكسبرٌس» ،أن الشركة تطرح أكثر من 13ألف مقعد على متن 183رحلة إلى شرم الشٌخ والغردقة طوال فترة إجازة العٌد؛ لنقل المصرٌٌن والعرب واألجانب والراغبٌن فً قضاء إجازة العٌد بهذه المدن السٌاحٌة. وقال رزق ،إنه تم طرح نحو 8آالف مقعد على متن 106رحالت منتظمة وإضافٌة إلى شرم الشٌخ ،و 6آالف مقعد على متن 77رحلة منتظمة وإضافٌة إلى الغردقة. وعلى جانب آخر ،أعلن الطٌار باسم جوهر رئٌس شركة مصر للطٌران للشحن الجوي، عن انطالق أولى رحالت الشركة من مطار القاهرة الدولً إلى مطار رأس الخٌمة ،التى تبدأ برحلة أسبوعٌة ،مع التوقع بزٌادة عدد الرحالت فى األشهر القلٌلة المقبلة. وأشار جوهر إلى أن هذه تعد خطوة اٌجابٌة لتوفٌر فرص للمنتجات وخدمات الشحن من قبل شركة مصر للطٌران ،وتشجٌع وزٌادة اإلنتاجٌة من بوابات النقل الجوي ،وعملٌات الشحن من وإلى رأس الخٌمة وخلق فرص لزٌادة التنمٌة االقتصادٌة والخدماتٌة وفتح بوابة أخرى لالستٌراد والتصدٌر فى دولة اإلمارات العربٌة. وحضر حفل استقبال أول طائرة لشركة مصر للطٌران للشحن الجوي فى مطار رأس الخٌمة الشٌخ سالم بن سلطان القاسمً ،رئٌس دائرة الطٌران المدنى فى رأس الخٌمة، الذي أعرب عن سعادته بالناقل الجوي المصري ،وأكد دعمه الكامل له فى مطار رأس الخٌمة لضمان زٌادة عملٌات النقل الجوي. ومن جانبه ،أكد محمد قاذي الرئٌس التنفٌذى لمطار رأس الخٌمة على حرص اإلمارات للعمل بشكل وثٌق مع شركة مصر الطٌران لزٌادة عدد الرحالت والجهات من وإلى مطار رأس الخٌمة باعتبارها شرٌ ًكا قوًٌا ،لتنمٌة التجارة بٌن البلدٌن.

اللجنة الفنٌة بالطٌران المصرى تعلن االنتهاء من تحدٌد اماكن تفكك جسم الطائرة الروسٌة انتهت الٌوم الخمٌس اعمال اصطفاف اجزاء الطائرة الروسٌة التى سقطت فوق شبه جزٌرة سٌناء أكتوبر الماضى ،وتم عقد اجتماع بمقر االدارة المركزٌة لتحلٌل الحوادث بوزارة الطٌران المدنى ٌضم أعضاء لجنة التحقٌق فى الحادث والممثلٌن المعتمدٌن للدول المشاركة فى التحقٌق و مستشارٌهم وذلك لوضع تقرٌرا مبدئٌا بشؤن ما تم التوصل الٌه من نتائج. وقد خلصت اللجنة الى وجود منطقة محددة هى األكثر احتمالٌة لتكون بداٌة حدوث التفكك بجسم الطائرة. وتم التنسٌق مع الخبراء المختصٌن من كل من مركز بحوث وتطوٌر الفلزات التابع لوزارة البحث العلمى وكلٌة الهندسة جامعة القاهرة إلجراء الدراسات المعملٌة الدقٌقة والمتخصصة لبعض األجزاء من الحطام والتى تم تحدٌدها نتٌجة لعملٌة االصطفاف مما سٌساعد فى التوصل الى اكثر األسباب احتماال لتفكك تلك األجزاء. هذا وسٌتم استصدار األوامر من النٌابة العامة لنقل تلك األجزاء الى مراكز األبحاث إلجراء اإلختبارات علٌها

Botswana: Maun Air Control Tower, Block Complete Maun — The air traffic control tower and technical block at Maun International Airport (MIA) constructed at the tune of P86 680 000 by Colic Construction and Development was completed in August. Briefing the Maun Administration Authority councillors, airport manager Mr Larona Mokete said the airport, which was the busiest in the country experienced challenges of congestion in the terminal building. He said the airport had, as a result, employed temporary measures by providing a shade adjacent to the international arrival hall for clientele. Mr Mokete said they were hoping for a bigger terminal to be constructed to address the challenge. He said Civil Aviation Authority Botswana (CAAB) was in dialogue with government to renovate the existing terminal by combining the domestic and international departure lounges to make one big international lounge and convert the international arrival hall into the domestic departure lounge.

Heathrow free vote would be 'a fudge and dodge‗ His comments came after Channel 4 News reported that a document carried on the London Underground by a civil servant was filmed by another passenger. It discussed the "potential waiving of collective responsibility" ahead of a decision on airport capacity. The government has said it will make a decision on Heathrow "in due course". The Airports Commission recommended in July last year that a third runway should be built at Heathrow. However, the Department for Transport said further investigation into noise, pollution and compensation would be carried out before a decision was made. The document photographed on the Underground was a printout of an email to Sue Gray, the director general of the Cabinet Office's propriety and ethics team. It states that lawyers and members of the Cabinet Office's economic and domestic affairs secretariat "are seeking specific input from us on how to handle potential waiving of collective responsibility". The document suggests that "one route for waiving collective responsibility would be a free..." with the next word hidden by the thumb of the woman holding it.

Dubai retains title of world's busiest international airport Dubai International Airport has been named the world's busiest for international passenger traffic and the second busiest for cargo, according to new figures released by the Airports Council International (ACI). The 2015 ACI World Airport Traffic report showed that DXB serviced 77.5 million passengers last year, up 10.7 percent over 2014, putting it ahead of London Heathrow and Hong Kong for international passengers. It also showed that Dubai handled 2.51 million metric tonnes of freight in 2015, up 3.4 percent over 2014, putting it second behind Hong Kong in the international air cargo category. Worldwide airport passenger numbers increased 6.4 percent in 2015 to almost 7.2 billion, registering increases in all six regions. The top spot in the busiest airports overall list for 2015 continued to belong to Atlanta-Hartsfield-Jackson (ATL). Growing 5.5 percent year-over-year in passenger traffic to the record-breaking total of over 100 million passengers in 2015, Atlanta has benefitted from its strategic location as a major connecting hub and port of entry into North America.

(1) American Airlines to add Rome, Amsterdam routes at DFW American Airlines will launch seasonal service from Dallas/Fort Worth Airport to two more cities in Europe and one in Hawaii next year. The Fort Worth-based carrier said Thursday it will operate daily service to Rome and Amsterdam from May to September during the busy summer travel season. It will also add service to Kona, Hawaii, in February, March, June and July. ―One of our top goals at DFW Airport is to grow international passenger and cargo air service in order to spur new business and travel opportunities in our home region, and the addition of these new flights will certainly help connect the Dallas-Fort Worth area to more of Europe,‖ Sean Donohue, the airport‘s chief executive, said in a statement. American will be using a Boeing 767-300 on its Amsterdam and Kona routes and Boeing 777-200 on its flight to Rome. It also plans to add service between Chicago O‘Hare and Barcelona. The carrier said the additions will not add capacity to its network since it will be cutting service on ChicagoDusseldorf, Philadelphia-Brussels, Philadelphia-Zurich and JFKBirmingham, England, routes.

The announcement of new international routes at DFW comes one week after the airport board approved a new incentive plan to try to convince airlines to add flights to targeted destinations in Europe, Asia and Africa. Instead of offering airlines one- to two-year incentive plans with a flat-dollar amount, the airport plans to offer incentives based on the flight‘s distance and type of aircraft used on the route. Since 2009, DFW has added several international destinations including Sydney, Hong Kong and Beijing. However, in the past year, the airport lost KLM‘s seasonal service to Amsterdam and Airberlin chose not to launch a previously announced route from Dusseldorf.

Etihad airline bans use of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Abu Dhabi: Etihad Airways said on Friday it has temporarily banned the use of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones on board its flights following reports of explosions from faulty batteries in some handsets. ―Following the global recall by Samsung of its Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones, Etihad Airways has, as a precautionary measure, enforced a temporary ban on the in-flight use and battery charging of these devices on all its flights until the issue is rectified by the manufacturer,‖ the Abu Dhabi-based carrier said in a statement. Samsung, the world‘s largest smartphone maker, said last week it was suspending sales of its latest flagship mobile device and recalling 2.5 million units shipped globally following reports of exploding ―phablets‖ that dealt a heavy blow to the firm‘s reputation.
US and Japanese aviation authorities on Friday urged passengers not to turn on or charge Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones on aircraft. Qantas and Virgin Australia have issued similar warnings.
