«مصر للطيران» تنظم 235رحلة داخلية ودولية لنقل 18ألف راكب فى يومين كتب ــ محمد عبدالناصر أعلن صفوت مسلم ،ربيس الشركة القابضة لمصر للطيران ،أن الشركة تنظم يومى الثالثاء واألربعاء ثانى وثالث أيام عيد األضحى المبارك 235رحلة دولية وداخلية لنقل 18ألف راك ًبا إلى بعض الوجهات والمدن الدولية ،باإلضافة إلى مدن الجذب السياحى داخل مصر. وقال "مسلم" ،فى تصريحات صحفية اليوم ،الثالثاء ،إن رحالت مصرللطيران تشهد خالل أيام عيد األضحى المبارك انتظا ًما في مواعيد اإلقالع والهبوط من وإلى مطار القاهرة الدولي والمطارات المصرية ،حيث تسير الشركة 119رحلة دولية وداخلية بواقع 83رحلة دولية تسيرها شركة الخطوط الجوية إلى بعض المدن والوجهات األوروبية والعربية ،وذلك لنقل 7000راك ًبا كماتسير الشركة عدة رحالت داخلية لخدمة عمالبها من المصريين والقادمين من دول الخليج العربي والدول األوروبية ممن يرغبون في قضاء إجازة العيد في بعض المدن الساحلية بمصر. وأضاف أن هذه الرحالت تبلغ 36رحلة داخلية لنقل 3000راكب ،بواقع 28رحلة تسيرها شركة مصر للطيران للخطوط الداخلية واإلقليمية (إكسبرس) تنقل على متنها 2000راك ًبا ،بينما تسير شركة الخطوط الجوية 8رحالت جوية لنقل 1000راكب إلى كل من شرم الشيخ والغردقة واألقصر وأسوان ،وكذلك إلى مطار برج العرب باإلسكندرية ومرسى علم. وتابع مسلم" :كما تسير مصر للطيرانً األربعاء ثالث أيام العيد إجمالى 116رحلة جوية لنقل 8000راكب ،وذلك بمعدل 79رحلة دولية تسيرها شركة الخطوط الجوية لنقل 5800راك ًبا ،بينما تسير شركتي مصر للطيران إكسبريس والخطوط الجوية 37 رحلة داخلية لنقل 2200راكب إلى كل من شرم الشيخ والغردقة واألقصر وأسوان واإلسكندرية ومرسى علم ،ليصبح إجمالي الرحالت التي تسيرها الشركة في أيام العيد الثالثة 355رحلة على متنها 29ألف راكب".

بين المطار و«مصر للطيران» ..سعيكم مشكور!
جيالن جبر حالة من الزحام الشديد قبل العيد تشعرك أن يوم القيامة أصبح قريبا ،زحام مرورى خانق ،فوضى فى الشوارع من أخطاء البشر ،وغياب القانون ورجل المرور ..المهم فى النهاية المشهد ال يتحمله سوى ..المضطر أو المجنون ،والثمن كان أن تقضى أكثر من ساعتين ونصف على الطريق من الدقى للمطار ،وطبعا ..المطار به جزء من نوعية البشر المصرى الذى افتقد الكثير من السلوك واألخالق ،أو االلتزام واالحتراف ،المهم كان معى هذا الحوار ..ولكم التقدير واألحكام: معلش يا فندم الدنيا كانت زحمة جدا ،آسفة عشر دقايق تأخير ممكن يكون فى تقدير للموقف ده خارج عن إرادتى ولسه فاضل 55دقيقة على إقالع الطابرة .مش كده؟ ! الء الاا يا مدام مستحيل ،أغلقنا ،لن نستطيع! صرخت :حسبى هللا ونعم الوكيل. يا فندم أرجوك! طيب عادى ممكن أطلع ألنى درجة أولى استثناء فى التأخير عشر دقايق! والشنط أتركها فى الطيارة إللى بعدها! أجاب :ال الاااا برضه مستحيل! وبإصرار غريب يردد :ده إحنا مصر الطيران ماشية على الكتاب بالمواعيد!. ■ يااااسالم!! وهللا ياريت ..حقيقة مش كالم ..وللعلم الطيارات أغلبها النهارده اتأخرت ألن الشوارع أكثر من زحمة ،ده حتى عشان معالى الوزير ..متأخرة جدا لإلقالع لفرنسا مازالت فى انتظاره حتى اآلن؟! الزحام المرورى اليوم الخميس قبل العيد! وغير تأخير فى طيارة لندن والدمام!. أجاب الموظف بتحفظ :برضه ال يا مدام ،وبإصرار غريب فى إيه! قلت :طيب خالص ،الخيرة فيما اختاره هللا ،ونحاول فى الطابرة المقبلة بعد أكثر من ست ساعات ..شوية صبر فى المطار ومتابعة.. وظهر فجاءة أن هذا اإلصرار لعدم الصعود على الطابرة المتبقى لها 55دقيقة! فى اتنين من على الدرجة السياحية يهمهم أمرهما ،وحين لم نصل للموعد إال بعد عشر دقابق بسبب الطريق الزحمة ..كانت اتعملت حركة سريعة من القانون مع الفهلوة؟! وكان من حظهما أخذوا بسرعة األماكن ..إلى الدرجة األولى! نعم هى دى مصر يا هبلة! وبالتالى صعب إعادة الحق ألصحابه ،دافعين فلوس درجة أولى أو سياحية ،إللى يكسب فى البلد دى شوية البلطجية ألن األولوية لهم (الزم الحظوظ ومصالح النفوس؟!). عموما :قدر هللا وما شاء فعل ،كان لهذا التأخير جانب مفيد من التأمل داخل المطار.. لتشهد بنفسك وتسمع حوارات وتراشقا غريبا بين الزمالء ..أو هزارا وتسلية بين العمال ..وصوتا عاليا.. وصراخا ،وكالما آخر عجيبا بين أمين شرطة والمسؤول عن النظافة ،نعم ..ثم أمام أحد المقاهى السريعة تجد أو قيم..
2 هذا الحوار العجيب: هات بسرعة كباية شاى( ..ببالش)؟! فيرد صاحب المقهى :كفاية بقى طلباتك النهارده ،دى رابع كباية من الصبح!. فيرد بتهديد وبتحذير :طيب استنى عليه وهللا حاصورلك شوية الكراتين إللى وراء التالجة دول (ممنوعين)!. فهات كباية الشاى بسرعة أحسن!. وبسخرية وفجور يرد مدير الكافيه :وأنا كمان زهقت منكم خالص وصورت كل واحد فيكم وهو ببدلته.. وبتقبضوا البقشيش واالكرامية بإصرار ..وأسلوب الشحاتة المستمر والرخيص الذى يمارس على المسافرين!. ومفيش وال كباية شاى حاطلعها تانى.. فتجد من بعيد حالة زحام وتملل وتمرد من بعض السياح لماذا؟ أغلق تماما البنك الوحيد فى صالة المطار.. نعم (بنك القاهرة) ألن اإليجار كان غاليا عليهم؟! وغير مهم حالة السواح والعرب إللى الزم تدفع بالجنيه للوزن الزيادة المطلوب تسديده بالعملة المحلية قبل المغادرة لمصر المحروسة ومحتاجة بنك لألهمية ..عليها البحث عن عامل غير مسؤول يخرج لخارج المطار ليغير الفلوس أو يضحك على الزبون وال يعود (عادى) أو عمولة المشوار! فالفساد هنا أصبح فنا ال يقارن فى مصر ..فإغالق خدمة بنك دون إيجاد بديل ..ونظل نطالب بتغيير العملة لتسديد فاتورة! ..غباء أم فساد؟! واألهم كان متابعة عدد الطابرات التى تتأخر من أجل زحام الطريق ألجل عيون الوزير وأخرى للمزاج تغلق فى موعدها! األماكن تم إشغالها ألصحاب السعادة إللى كانوا على درجة سياحية ..واترفعوا تحت قانون أو ضمن اإلكرامية ..وهذه هى الخيبة القوية.. فى النهاية هى تجربة واقعية على المكشوف فى التعامل مع الطيران وإدارة السلوك بين عدد من عمال المطار.. وتأكد البعض من يعطى يلتزم فى العمل ،وهناك التفانين األخرى من البشر ..بغياب الحزم وترهل الرقابة المستمر على التنظيم واإلدارة ،تضيع صورة مصر وتحبطنا ،لن تنهض الدولة بنوعية البعض من هؤالء البشر: فقد غاب عنهم الصدق ..واختطف منهم حسن السلوك .ومات فيهم اإلدراك والشعور.. وفى النهاية يبقى الخطر على هذا الوطن بأن يستمر فيه وال يحاسب من هدم ..وال يقيم فيه من ساهم بحق بالبناء والعطاء ،فكل هؤالء متساوون وسط الزحام ويتنافسون بدون مراعاة ألى مبادئ

عطل فني في اإلطارات يؤخر إقالع طابرة "مصر للطيران" ساعتين
حنان عز الدين تسبب عطل فني بإطارات طابرة "مصر للطيران" ،المتجهة من مطار القاهرة إلى الغردقة ،اليوم الثالثاء ،في تأخر إقالعها ساعتين ،تم خاللهما استدعاء فريق فني تولى إصالح العطل ،واستأنفت الطابرة رحلتها بكل ركابها. وقالت مصادر مالحية بمطار القاهرة :إنه أثناء استعداد قابد رحلة "مصر للطيران" رقم 42لإلقالع إلى الغردقة ،فوجا بحدوث عطل فني بإطاراتها، يحول دون إتمام اإلقالع بسالم ،فتم استدعاء فريق فني تولى إصالح العطل، واستأنفت الطابرة رحلتها بكل ركابها ،والبالغين 160راك ًبا.

Court rules that VIP passenger and crew violated civil aviation rules The pilot and co-pilot of an aircraft operated by a commercial carrier on an Austral LĂneas AĂŠreas scheduled flight invited a VIP passenger into the cockpit for the duration of a flight. The first-instance court decided that the pilots and the passenger should be charged under Article 190 of the Criminal Code because their behaviour had violated safety regulations and posed a threat to the security of the aircraft, passengers and cargo, as well as third parties on the ground, even though no concrete harm had been caused. Facts A VIP passenger was invited into the cabin of an aircraft during a commercial flight. During the flight, the passenger took photos with her mobile phone and sent messages to third parties during take-off and landing. Video footage proved that the passenger had activated commands in the cockpit and that the co-pilot would have been unable to counteract any unexpected movements or reactions by the passenger. The first-instance court determined that the pilot, co-pilot and passenger should be charged, as their behaviour had violated security norms and endangered the security of the flight, even though no actual harm had been caused. Article 190 of the Criminal Code sets a penalty of imprisonment of between two to eight years for anyone who knowingly performs an action that could jeopardise the security of an aircraft, floating construction or boat. The crew members and the passenger received a fine of $16,234 and a prosecution without imprisonment. The defendants appealed the first-instance decision. Decision Chamber I of the Court of Appeals on Criminal Federal Matters agreed with the first-instance decision, stating that the criminal relevance of the accused's behaviour rested with their ability to generate a concrete risk to the flight's safety.
2 The passenger's phone recorded that she had interacted with the crew for the entire flight. Undoubtedly, her presence in the cabin was a major distraction for the crew and negatively influenced their judgement. This was not only due to the content of the conversations that the three defendants had during the flight, which had no connection with the flight's operational aspects, but also because of the intensity and timing of these conversations (ie, during landing and take-off, even when communications with air traffic control were taking place). The fact that the passenger had access to the cabin, with the crew's permission, where she activated flight instruments at a sensitive time (eg, take-off) cannot be minimised and created an enhanced risk, prohibited under Argentine operative norms. Further, the court noted that in accordance with Austral's operations manual and Argentine civil aviation rules, the passenger's telephone had not been in flight mode. As a result, the court concluded that the defendants had knowingly posed a serious risk to the flight. Consequently, the court decided that there was a good reason to believe that the behaviour of the crew and the passenger had constituted a serious risk to the flight even though no harm had been caused. The court of appeals confirmed the penalties imposed by the firstinstance court. Comment The decision sets a positive legal precedent, as the court held that even though no concrete harm had been caused, the actions had violated Article 190 of the Criminal Code because the three defendants knew or should have known the risk involved in their actions. This is not the first case in which a VIP passenger has been invited into the cabin by the crew during a flight. What appears to be controversial is the fact that the defendants' actions were photographed and uploaded on the Internet. However, the court has taken a stand, perhaps to prevent similar behaviour in future.

Expanding into Ethiopia [AAD16D1] Recognising the immense aviation potential in Africa, Pretoria-based Aerosud Group has just aligned itself with Ethiopian Airlines. Managing director Johan Steyn signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tewolde Gebremariam, group chief executive of Ethiopian Airlines, at the latter’s headquarters in Addis Ababa. In a recent interview, Gebremariam said Ethiopia was investing heavily in infrastructure to back the airline’s mission and its pan- African sentiment. “Africa is going to be the global stage of competition for manufacturing industrialisation and tourism,” he stated. Steyn said: “We would like to share Aerosud’s long years of experience working with major aircraft manufacturers such as Boeing and Airbus to help Ethiopia in the development of the aerospace manufacturing industry in that country. We will continue to seek close relationships with Tier 1 entities and OEMs, because we believe that is how we become relevant in the global marketplace, and also how we’ll secure longevity.” Under this MoU, the airline will start aerospace manufacturing in Ethiopia and supplying aircraft parts to Boeing, Airbus and other aerospace companies. Aerosud is the single-source producer and supplier of a range of A320, A350 and B737 aircraft parts, components and assemblies, ranging from thermoplastic and composite panelling to cockpit and cabin interiors. This includes continuous fibre reinforced thermoplastic (CFRTP), as well as deep-drawn pressings for structural portions, such as wings and fuselages, to sheet metal and machined components, and fully equipped galleys. Ethiopian Airlines, celebrating 70 years of operations this year, and one of Africa’s fastest-growing airlines, is hoping to prosper further through this venture with Aerosud. The airline is currently implementing a 15year strategic plan called Vision 2025, which is aimed at making it the leading aviation group in Africa, with seven business centres.

Analysis of International air travel to Africa this year (January to August) by ForwardKeys, a company that predicts future travel patterns by crunching and analysing 14m booking transactions a day, reveals growth of 5.6% compared with the same period last year. However, there is a tale of two Africas – North Africa, comprising Algeria, Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia, which has seen little growth or even a decline, and other parts of Africa, particularly East Africa, which has displayed double digit growth. Olivier Jager, CEO, ForwardKeys, said: “Despite their weak growth, North African countries still made it into the top 10 destinations in terms of volume of traffic but they have suffered from political instability and terror activities in the region.” In terms of market share, South Africa is the largest destination, with 13% of international air traffic; it is followed by Egypt with 9%, Morocco with 8%, Mauritius with 5%, Kenya, Algeria and Tunisia with 4%, Tanzania and Ethiopia with 3% and Nigeria with 2%. When one looks at origin markets, Europe is the dominant force, providing 46.1% of air traffic to Africa, which has grown by 2.5% this year. However the other origin markets have shown much stronger growth with the Americas up 12.7%, Asia Pacific up 12.4%, the Middle East up 9.6% and travel within Africa up 5.4%.

Looking ahead to the remainder of the year, the picture is highly encouraging. International bookings for travel to Africa as a whole, up to the end of December are 11.1% ahead of where they were at this time last year. Europe, which is the origin of over 60% of forward bookings is 11.3% ahead. Asia Pacific is 14.3% ahead, the Americas 12.5% ahead, the Middle East 6% ahead and travel within Africa 9.4% ahead. The data has been released ahead of AviaDev, a new airline route development conference and AHIF, Africa’s highest profile hotel investment conference, which run concurrently at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Centre in Kigali from 4-6 October 2016. Jonathan Worsley, Chairman of Bench Events, which is organising AHIF and AviaDev, said: “This is extremely interesting and timely data. It explains why we are seeing very serious interest in the market – over twenty airlines have signed up for this inaugural event to discuss new aviation routes in Africa and a scores of very senior executives, including the Global CEOs of The Rezidor Hotel Group, Marriott International and Westmont Hospitality Group, are also coming to Rwanda.” Arne Sorensen, President & CEO, Marriott, whose new hotel in Kigali will host the conferences’ opening reception concluded: “AHIF has been fundamental in helping us meet local contacts and boost our profile in the African market.”
http://m.atwonline.com South African Airways gets $350 million bailout; major reforms needed The airline has been in a rocky state for several years and has endured a revolving door of CEOs in recent times, with several chief executives and other senior management figures either resigning or being suspended for unspecified disciplinary reasons. A new SAA board was approved by the country’s cabinet on Aug. 31 and, in his first meeting with its members, Gordhan said it would not be “business as usual” for the airline. Gordhan told board members that their primary focus was to return the airline to financial sustainability while also delivering on several other government objectives, including improved corporate governance. He added that the new loan guarantee facility had only been approved with several conditions, including the implementation of greater costcutting in areas such as fuel, aircraft ownership, labor, MRO and procurement. Significantly, he said airline operations had to be scaled back to focus only on profitable routes. This entails closing sectors that had been lossmaking for longer than one year. The board must also actively consider a possible merger of SAA with South African Express, he said, as well as the potential introduction of a strategic equity partner, while funding had to be secured to meet the airline’s liquidity requirements. SAA must regularly report back to the Treasury on progress on meeting these conditions.
