شهد مطار القاهرة الدولى خالل ال 24ساعة الماضٌة انطالق 26رحلة داخلٌة تابعة للشركة الوطنٌة مصر للطٌران ،متجهة إلى المدن السٌاحٌة المصرٌة لالستفادة من العروض التى تقدمها مصر للطٌران للسفر على متن رحالتها فً إطار خطتها لتنشٌط السٌاحة الداخلٌة ،كما سٌرت بعض الشركات الخاصة 7رحالت أخرى إلى مدٌنتً شرم الشٌخ والغردقة. وشهد المطار تسٌٌر شركة مصر للطٌران 9رحالت إلى مدٌنتى الغردقة وشرم الشٌخ ورحلتٌن إلى كل من األقصر وأسوان ،باإلضافة إلى تسٌٌر رحلة أخرى إلى كل من مدٌنتى االسكندرٌة ومرسً علم لتقل 1521سائحا. كما أقلعت من مطار القاهرة الدولً أٌضا 8رحالت تابعة الثنتٌن من الشركات الخاصة وتوجهت مباشرة إلى مدٌنتى شرم الشٌخ والغردقة وكان على متنهم 891سائح ،وشهدت معظم الرحالت التى انطلقت انتظا ًما فً مواعٌد اإلقالع حسب جدول التشغٌل المقرر. وقامت سلطات المطار بالتنسٌق مع شركة مصر للطٌران بتخصٌص فرق من العالقات العامة تابعة لشركتى المٌناء ومصر للطٌران داخل الصاالت لتسهٌل عملٌة تسفٌر السائحٌن وفقا لرحالتهم.

استقبل مطار القاهرة الدولً خالل الـ 24ساعة الماضٌة 189 رحلة جوٌة دولٌة وداخلٌة سٌرتها الشركة الوطنٌة مصر للطٌران، وعدد من شركات الطٌران المصرٌة والعالمٌة ،من العواصم والمدن العالمٌة والمطارات الداخلٌة المصرٌة. وأكد مصدر مالحى ،أن المطار شهد وصول 28ألف و 350راكبا على متن 189رحلة خالل 24ساعة. وأضاف المصدر ،أنه تم تٌسٌر خروج الركاب من جمٌع صاالت الوصول بالمطار عقب انتهاء إجراءات التفتٌش المتبعة.

صرح الطٌار أحمد عادل رئٌس مجلس إدارة الشركة القابضة لمصر للطٌران ،بأنه فى ضوء توجٌهات الفرٌق ٌونس المصرى وزٌر الطٌران المدنى وبمجهودات العاملٌن بمصر للطٌران تمكنت الشركة من نقل 64ألف حاج إلى كل من جدة والمدٌنة المنورة لهذا العام 1439هـ2018/مـ ،وذلك على متن 337رحلة جوٌة بأعلى معدل فى انتظام الرحالت وسهولة فى إنهاء إجراءات سفر الحجاج ،وهو ما نطمح أن تكون علٌه مرحلة العودة بإذن هللا ،والتى من المقرر بداٌتها فى 27 اغسطس الحالى. وفى السٌاق ذاته ،قال الطٌار شرٌف عزت رئٌس شركة مصر للطٌران للخطوط الجوٌة ،إنه تغادر الٌوم بعثة عمل من مصر للطٌران إلى جدة والمدٌنة تضم أكفأ العناصر فى مختلف التخصصات لتكون فى شرف تودٌع الحجاج فى مرحلة العودة وإنهاء إجراءاتهم فى المطارات السعودٌة. ودعا عزت الحجاج بضرورة االلتزام بالمواعٌد المدونة على تذاكر السفر والتواجد بمطار جدة قبل إقالع الرحلة بـ 8ساعات ومن مطار المدٌنة المنورة بـ 6ساعات، االلتزام بحمل حقٌبتٌن فقط وزن الواحدة 23كجم وحقٌبة ٌد وزنها 8كجم، باإلضافة إلى مٌاه زمزم المغلقة والمعتمدة رسمٌا ً مع عدم اصطحاب الزكائب واألجولة القماشٌة.

ناشدت الشركة الوطنٌة مصر للطٌران الحجاج فى مرحلة العودة للوطن بعد أدائهم لمناسك الحج االلتزام بالتعلٌمات الخاصة بالسالمة واألمان داخل الطائرة لضمان عدم تخلفهم عن رحالتهم والمكوث فى مطارى المدٌنة المنورة أو جدة. وحددت الشركة موعد التواجد بمطار جدة الدولى قبل إقالع رحالتهم بـ8 ساعات ،والتواجد قبل إقالع رحالتهم بـ 6ساعات بالنسبة للرحالت التى ستقلع من مطار المدٌنة المنورة ضمانة لعدم تخلفهم عن رحالتهم وتسكٌنهم على متن الرحالت المخصصة لهم. كما دعت الشركة الحجاج بااللتزام بحٌازة حقٌبتٌن فقط على أن ال ٌزٌد وزن الحقٌبة الواحدة عن 23كٌلو جراما ،باإلضافة إلى حقٌبة ٌد وزنها ال ٌزٌد عن 8كٌلو جرامات ،منوهة على عدم اصطحاب المواد القابلة لالشتعال أو أى أدوات حادة داخل حقٌبة الٌد والتى ستكون على متن الطائرة. كما أكدت الشركة على الحجاج بعدم اصطحاب الزكائب واألجولة القماشٌة، باإلضافة إلى مٌاه زمزم المغلقة والمعتمدة رسم ًٌا من جانب السلطات السعودٌة ،حٌث أنه لن ٌسمح لغٌر هذه العبوات بالنقل على متن الطائرة.

أكد مصدر مسئول بالشركة الوطنٌة مصر للطٌران أنه تم انتخاب الطٌار أحمد عادل – رئٌس مجلس إدارة الشركة القابضة لمصر للطٌران -لعضوٌة مجلس المحافظٌن باالتحاد الدولى للنقل الجوى "اآلٌاتا". عضوا من رؤساء مجالس إدارات الجدٌر بالذكر أن مجلس المحافظٌن ٌتكون من 31 ً كبرى شركات الطٌران العالمٌة من بٌن 260شركة طٌران أعضاء فى االتحاد. وٌعد مجلس المحافظٌن هو الجهة المسئولة عن وضع السٌاسات واإلستراتٌجٌات العامة والقوانٌن واللوائح المنظمة لالتحاد الدولى للنقل الجوى فى كافة المجاالت التى تهم شركات الطٌران األعضاء ووضع الحلول ألهم التحدٌات التى تواجه الصناعة مثل :السالمة الجوٌة وأمن الطٌران وتأثٌر صناعة الطٌران على البٌئة وتطوٌر برامج خدمة الركاب والشحن الجوى وسبل تنمٌة سوق النقل الجوى على مستوى العالم. ٌذكر أن الشركة الوطنٌة مصر للطٌران هى شركة الطٌران السابعة على مستوى العالم من حٌث تارٌخ انضمامها لالتحاد الدولى للنقل الجوى والذى ٌعد أكبر اتحاد لشركات الطٌران وٌقع تحت مظلتها معظم شركات الطٌران حول العالم.

Jet Airways has amended its standard operating procedures for take-off following a late take-off incident that occurred on 30 August 2016, involving one of its Boeing 777-300ERs at London Heathrow airport. The aircraft, registered VT-JEK, was departing from on a flight to Mumbai at 20:30UTC, when it crossed the airfield boundary at 13ft above ground level and an adjacent road at 30ft above ground level. There were no reports of injuries among the 15 crew and 231 passengers on board. The UK Air Accidents Investigation Branch classified the case as a serious incident, and delegated the investigation to India's Air Accident Investigation Bureau. In its final report, the Indian AAIB found that VT-JEK took off from runway intersection S4 on runway 27L, but the used performance figures calculated for intersection N1, which was the full length of the runway. Consequently, regulatory take-off performance requirements were compromised. .

2 www.flightglobal.com The pilot-in-command calculated the aircraft take-off performance from the first four intersections of the runway using the default On-Board Performance Tool (OPT) output corresponding to the full length, whereas the co-pilot had correctly calculated performance for a takeoff from intersection S4W. The discrepancy was identified during the postcalculation crosscheck of the OPT output. However, the co-pilot changed her OPT entry to match the pilotin-charge "probably due to the fact that commander was much senior to the co-pilot". Rotation was initiated with 556m of runway remaining and lift-off occurred with 97m remaining. As the aircraft passed the end of the runway, the three radio altimeters recorded heights above the surface of 16.4ft, 16.6ft and 17ft respectively. "From a procedural perspective, there appeared to be no assurance that an incorrect or invalid entry into the OPT made at the departure briefing would be corrected before the performance calculation was made," says the AAIB. The AAIB adds that a contributory factor to the incident include both pilots flying out of the runway for the first time. Jet now requires its crew to call out and resolve discrepancies between the output of the pilot-incommand and co-pilots OPT before entering data into the control and display unit

www.ch-aviation.com Nepal's Shree Airlines to add three Q400s; open Pokhara base Shree Airlines (N9, Kathmandu) is set to expand its base network and Bombardier (BBA, Montréal Trudeau) fleet with the upcoming addition of three Dash 8-400s. According to the Kathmandu Post, the Nepali Civil Aviation Ministry gave its final approval to the move on Sunday, August 12. Shree Airlines currently operates two CRJ-200s and two CRJ700s on scheduled passenger flights to the Nepali towns of Kathmandu, Bhadrapur, Biratnagar, Dhangarhi, Nepalgunj, Rajbiraj, and Siddharthanagar. With the incoming turboprops, it plans to open up a base at Pokhara and use the Q400s to serve Simara, Janakpur, Bharatpur, Kathmandu, and Tumling Tar. “We will not be operating the aircraft from Kathmandu as a base due to severe traffic congestion at Tribhuvan International Airport. We have planned to fly Q400 turboprops making Pokhara as the base,” the corporate manager of Shree Airlines, Anil Manandhar, told the paper. While no formal delivery date has been publically announced, company sources have said they expect the trio to arrive in October. Following their delivery, the turboprops will have to be type-certified and added to Shree's operations specifications, a process that could take several months. According to the ch-aviation fleets module, Nepal's regional turboprop needs are served by Avions de Transport Régional (three ATR42-300s and six ATR72-500s in service with Buddha Air) while Nepal Airlines operates three DHC-6-300s, two MA60s and four Y12Es, Simrik Airlines operates two Do228s, and Tara Air operates two Twin Otter-300s, two -400s, and two Do228s. www.ch-aviation.com Air Niugini inks ATR42 freighter deal with Hevilift Air Niugini (PX, Port Moresby) has announced that its freight subsidiary, Air Niugini Cargo, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hevilift (PNG) (Mount Hagen) for the exclusive marketing and use of one of the latter's P2Fconverted ATR42 freighters, P2-KSJ (msn 96). In a statement, ANGCL general manager Gus Kraus said a final agreement was in the offing adding that "certain" compliance issues still had to be addressed before doing so. “The best and most effective way forward was to co-jointly enter into this agreement considering Hevilift’s investment in the converting of one of its passenger Avions de Transport Régional aircraft into a full freighter, an aircraft that our staff Air Niugini Cargo are all too familiar with considering we had two similar versions only a few years ago,” Air Niugini’s acting chief executive officer, Tahawar Durrani added. P2-KSJ arrived at its base, Port Moresby, this past weekend and features Air Niugini's logo and livery. According to Kraus, it will initially be used for charter work with oil and petroleum firms expressing strong interest. “We would like to schedule the freighter but its too early as yet to commit to a schedule as the general trend of cargo movements has been soft but demand for locally-made products is growing so we will be reviewing regularly when the time is right to include a controlled schedule,” he said. www.ch-aviation.com China Eastern, Qantas ink deal to boost ties China Eastern Airlines (MU, Shanghai Hongqiao) has signed an enhanced business agreement with Qantas (QF, Sydney Kingsford Smith) wherein the two carriers have pledged to deepen their existing cooperation. China Eastern Airlines and Qantas are existing partners having entered into a joint venture in 2015. They currently codeshare on each other's flights; Qantas on China Eastern's domestic services out of Shanghai Pudong as well as to Brisbane Int'l, Melbourne Tullamarine, Singapore Changi, and Sydney Kingsford Smith. For its part, China Eastern codeshares on Qantas-operated flights from Melbourne and Sydney to both domestic Australian destinations as well as to Auckland Int'l, Beijing Capital, Christchurch, Shanghai, Singapore, and Wellington. According to the terms of the updated agreement signed on August 9, the two parties will boost cooperation in various fields such as capacity deployment, joint marketing, frequent flyer programme development, and IT. In addition, they will also endeavour to standardize the quality of services available to passengers across either carrier. The updated agreement is subject to government approval.
